I did not have a leak, but I did this for maintenance due to my car making noise when lock to lock., I also switched out the stock fluid with Amsoil synthetic PS fluid. Car is so easy to turn with one finger. If you do the OEM O-ring do the fluid also. Nothing is life time.

I have the Strut tower bars from an 08 STI. They are gt-Spec bars.

He has been building OEM Subaru cv shafts for 20 years and I explained about the nightmares of aftermarket cv shafts. He explained that the china cv shafts are junk, along with the autozones, cardone and what ever else. I I do have them my garage, and will be installing them in my car. My Legacy is a 2.5i, but I asked and he has them for all model's. I know some have had good luck with the other 60 to 80 dollar axels, and that is great. But for the price or OEM remans I cannot beat that. I wil get some pics of them soon, out of the box.

lol Yeah mine have not rusted, but they had a cool burnt tip blue, but they look like something out of Mad Max now . I spared no expense on my STI, next car I get will be the same. OEM part or nice aftermarket parts.

I hear the different now and see the difference in mufflers. I see those legacys have the XO2 mufflers. I have what people would call farts cans. there is a difference in sound between those muffler on your old car and my N1 style cans. Also Mine produces much more sound then those two 2.5i video's. Also my can was not a cold start. It was 63 and the car had been driven 30 min prev to the start. I do like the sound of the UEL header on that car.

NAw this happen to me backing up a snow hill, i was spinning all wheels slow and then a bit faster and i got the same thing, it went away after I drove it on dry land for a few miles. 08 2.5i
