Does anyone know what the part 21204A shown at the left above does? Like what flows through it. Random question I know, but I have a good reason for wanting to know. Also, please respond if you know for sure because I could guess myself.

Just drove 6.5 hours to buy a LegacyGT and on the way home this happened to me... does anyone know the cause, or the solution? (other than restarting everytime)
