I have the defi concept HUD in my sti. I wish it wasn't discontinued. Probably one of the best HUD / multi displays for the money.

Jdm version 7 2002 wrx brembo brakes are 5x100...can get a whole set front and rear for 1200 $...should I or shouldn't I go for it?..brakes calipers, rotors, pads included
The issue if I understand correctly has to do with the rears... You have to either do brackets or redrilled rotors. I personally went with redrilled rotors but its up to you.

Please refer to my post #309.
...because posts 326 and 327 are less credible?

In sure it's been discussed but many European cars will have its optics set to the left and not the right...possibly blinding oncomming traffic.(no more than Chevy cobalts with hid)

was there a design change between 10-12 and 2013?
other than the grill?

Voltz kit. 4300k, as close to OEM spec as I could get.
I was considering getting another set for my fogs.. So I was curious how they've worked for the past 2 years

That test is very unconventional, but a topic for a different thread.
Back on topic...
How are your hids holding out acumenhokie?

Good to hear.
I need to get my lines and pads on, had a seriously close encounter with stopping short on the thruway the other day. Need to stop faster
Better tires will probably help you brake faster 60-0.

STI hangers are definitely different. WRX Sedan mufflers have hangers that are close to the same 010 Legacies. They are not perfect, but they can be, ah, massaged to fit. STI mufflers, I imagine you need to re-do the hangers at a hanger shop, and I'm not sure that the flanges are the correct orientation.

Paul Hansen
I'm not sure about the perfection of fit concerning the three cars. I had an invidia q300 dual exhaust on my 11 sti sedan that was off of a 2008 wrx sedan. It fit fine, I thought the difficulties was because of new hangers... Exact hanger placement might have been the cause... All rat said I assumed that If the 08 fit an 11, you would be able to reverse them to fit a BM lgt
I would think they should fit. I have Megan axle backs for an 08+ WRX Sedan and they fit.i agree

^^ I don't remember who; however, I remember someone driving on them. That being said, the quadtipped 2011 sedan axle backs should fit too.

The L.W. fly wheel will always be on or off. If you haven't had one before you'll discover how much you love/hate it. The engine response is usually incredible, but frustrating when you left off .00000000001 sec too early and kill it pulling into your driveway.
I love this thread.

Did you take out that fold or whatever it is in the inter cooler hose too? Figured I should do that before the stage II move.
On the I/C-->TB coupler? I think we did. The other thing to be cogniscent of is that there is a vacuum hose under the TMIC that when you start putting more boost in the system sometimes pops off. I would just double check that its well attached. I thought IAG had done a 'fix' to it, but it was a huge headache for me. It only popped off right after I went stage 2, never had a problem after the 'fix'.
-
YAY. If I recall, I spared you the problem of the funny bracket removal. Just incase you find a bracket missing for a heat-shield (I think that's what it was)
-
This MPG gauge trick. What exactly was the problem? My car always says 17.6 mpg on trip a. But when I do the math at the pump its actually 16.2.
This will fix?

Its a good feeling

I thought there was a larger turbo available. I was hoping that there was a catless downpipe available by now. I know someone had done a stage 2+ build and tune at EFI.

so what exhaust and power mods have come along (for the 5th gen) since I sold my LGT? I'm kind of curious for undisclosed reasons.

Looks great Waz! Hope all gets sorted out with the rims.I sent more information about the scammer to the credit card company. They make me feel like I don't have much to be upset about. The guy took down the add so I don't have much to say "this is what I was supposed to buy, and this is what I got". I do have 200+ texts printed off that details that I was supposed to buy near perfect condition wheels. However, that doesn't seem to be enough for them. I have a feeling I just threw 1200 bucks to some asshat.i say kill all scamers, hope u get ur shit mane!!
Talked to the bank, should get my money back in few weeks.
