  1. I remember you when you were still young a pretty... oh wait, that's a lie.
  2. In your opinion, what is the best track to enjoy F1 live?
  3. Never looked closely enough to notice. Apparently, reading > me.
  4. Bosco's avatar has an error in it. Goddamn error in it! What's up with that? It is bullshit!
  5. I can't believe that I joined this site almost 14 years ago. What a bunch of bullshit...
  6. The HALO is retarded anyhow. Regardless of it being functional or not. The drivers are now in full snowflake mode. Freaking soon enough they will race on simulators from the safety of their goddamn mansions. Bullshit... all of it is bullshit. Racing used to be for those who had little to no fear. Now it had been turned into ******* bumper cars or some such. I don't like it.
  7. We may end up with grid boys and that should worry us all...
  8. It is sad what the feminists are doing to this and other sports. I just read an article where two grid girls were pissed that they lost their jobs and the PC movement is making decisions for them. They really liked being grid girls and enjoyed being part of the F1 spectacle.
  9. Interesting... I almost wonder if this 'interview' weren't written for Lewis by his PR people. So many positive comments about the other guys. Whoever wrote this is right though, these 4 will hopefully make the 2018 a spectacle! Is McLaren fast now? I ******* hope so! I so hope that Alonso can get back to being on the top. Love that guy! So many wasted opportunities/seasons, none really due to his skill. If Vettel and Hamilton had good luck during the past 10 years, Alonso's luck has clearly turned sour shortly after his 2nd title.
  10. Kubica was named #3 (support) driver at Williams. Sirotkin from Russia got Massa’s seat due being able to bring at least 10 million GBP more than Robert could. Kubica will have to earn his right to drive an F1 car in 2019 by performing better than Sergey and Lance in testing, etc. We shall see. My fingers are crossed!
  11. He still on here? How about Jedi?
  12. What ever happened to GodWhomIsMike, BTW?
  13. I was expecting a thumbs up from an curmudgeon like you. Or was it the Internet part that triggered your inner snowflake?
  14. I’m going to try to visit the track when I am there next March. Hell of a track to drive on GT6...
  15. All around great guy, Daniel. Funny to boot (pun intended).
  16. Looks like Kubica will be driving for Williams as Massa’s replacement. Can’t wait if it is indeed true. Plan to see him live in either Melbourne or SPA next year.
  17. Excellent race to watch live. Hamilton was absolutely incredible, as much as it pains me to admit it. The crowd was on their feet during the last few laps, as he was closing in on Kimi. BTW, it was not me... holding things up. But I did break onto the track after the race ended. Even got a pic with a DRS sign that someone snatched from the side of the track. Massa got a fantastic send off by the fans after he walked out to the podium post coronation. He was quite emotional, just like last time that he retired.
  18. I just watched it on the a Delta flight. Indeed a good documentary. Great piece of racing history! Side note: Frank is a freaking weird dude. Glad Claire is unlike her father. Hope they make some hay next year.
  19. Ferrari threatening (again) to leave F1 if proposed engine rules take effect. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.motorsport.com/f1/news/ferrari-f1-future-974190/amp/
  20. In a dirty, unprovoked, and sneaky kind of way. It didn't help that all the allies that swore to protect the Poles chose to look away... that strategy did not work out very well. Until the Americans got reluctantly involved, that is, and saved the old world. Kubica is a fighter and a talented driver. It would be great to see him back in F1, but I realize that it might be a pipe dream by now.
  21. Thanks... I go there a few times per year for business. Sao Paulo is relatively safe and I always go with local people that work for me... so no sweat. Rio is quite dangerous, on the other hand. Even locals are extra cautious and worry about being mugged, robbed, killed, etc. I am still looking forward to the race. Last time I was at Interlagos they had a local SCCA equivalent series running. Saw some cool cars and met Fittipaldi's brother.
  22. What a surprise to see sir PhilThy back amongst the living... I don’t like Hamilton... never have and never will. But my hat is off to him winning his 4th title. Too bad it has been decided already, as I will be at the Interlagos race in two weeks.
  23. Keep the traction limit the same, I say... but embed some nails in there to result in a puncture. Equally bad idea, but much more entertaining and arguably safer.
  24. And accelerate cars careening out of control into a wall? Good idea, Nils...
  25. Charlie’s response was very confusing and not at all conclusive. Not sure what to make of it, other than it being rather evasive of an answer. Wonder if FIA ends up clarifying it further...
