I think I know somebody that could use that engine your swapping out in his LGT. The turbo blew and damaged the engine in his LGT and now it's sitting outside his house.

Good luck on the engine swap I would like to see pictures of this and videos.

Subscribed...partly cause I love seeing people that were making a quick (and inflated) buck being ousted by the DIY crowd, partly cause if the future allows it I'd love to throw some more power at this car and actually play with it, and partly cause I dont think Ive ever read a thread by ClimberD and not learned something...(or at least made my brain hurt)

He couldn't be talking about you Rob. We all know your car is vacuum sealed in a mylar pouch to eliminate all maintenance costs/fluid debates, and of course to keep it from breaking all the time....

Better plan on using the Buick tranny also beacuse I can tell that the LGT trannny will not hold up.

Dont feel bad. I just drove from my home in the Upper Peninsula, through lower michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Tennessee. Then back through Kentucky, the other side of Ohio, and back home. Saw one black Lgt South of Ann Arbor, MI on Friday heading north on 23. That was it. Oh and a Baja XT somewere in BFE OHIO south of Columbus on 33.

No. It refers to trim options basically. Leather, sunroof, there are others I think.

Outside Huhot in Green Bay today at noonish. DGM Spec-B, '07 or '08 I think. I was eating there with the big group of Advance Auto parts managers......sharp car.

I have noticed the same issue. Noticed it more when they did a reflash. I had my tranny fluid changed, and it's still there. Mine happens when I first drive it, and once it gets to 40 it kicks.

 

 

If you're going 40mph before the 2-3 upshift, then you are driving to hard, with the fluid too cold, and yes its going to kick hard.

i have not tryed the full on 19 lbs boost sitting still in first gear yet with this set up.. i'm kind of scared to. cuz bang and 1200$ of shit is gone..
