  1. I haven't noticed any squeeling... But, I have ~100 miles on the new ACT clutch/pressure plate and WRX flywheel combo, so if I do run into any noises during the break-in, I'll be able to get on it ASAP...

well... Actually, I did hear a squeeking noise once or twice since I've got my car back from the shop, but I'm pretty its sure one of my belts... It was the signature belt noise when cold or wet and only when first starting off! I haven't heard it in a few days.

I'm pretty sure the noises described in this thread are a more constant and continuous squeeking, correct?

    Thanks!

  2. spotted a dark blue (i think) 05/06 LGT with honeycomb grill with STI badge in driver's side lower corner, Thule roof rack with STI sticker, this morning at FasTrack Service in Peabody, MA. I dropped my OBP LGT off to fix a wheel speed sensor there and took a loaner car which happened to be parked right next to your LGT...

I'm pretty sure this person is on here...

Yeah... I'm definitely on here... and I actually saw you drive in and park your LGT, then come out of the office and hop into the loaner car! I was there today (my car has been there for over a week now) to meet up with the progressive insurance adjuster lady (who was smokin hot) and pickup a check for the damages that were incurred when someone hit my parked car in Southie back in December!

I'm getting the rear driver's side suspension fixed, new rim/tire and other related dmages repaired... my car will probably be there even longer afterwards because I'm most likely getting my clutch replaced, too... while the car is off the road anyway!

I'll be stopping by there again to drop of a new rim... If you are there I'll say hi, because I know what you look like form today!

  3. hahaha i did move it, thanks for the heads up...damn street cleaning!! that was the only spot i could find this morning.

i moved it at like 12:05pm, so it was all good.

phew:icon_razz that would have sucked if you got towed on the LAST week of street cleaning... esp. if it was your last week working in Southie, too!

  4. parked next to a newport blue pearl LGT at 88 in allston, looked bone stock but jsut throwing it out there.

    yeah. i'm there too often..........u_u

I saw Katalyst's lowered Silver NA today parked on F street... On the side of the street that was NOT GOOD after 12:00pm because of Street cleaning!

I hope you got it moved in time! I was going to try to warn you... but I didn't have my computer at home today!

Did you move it in time! It was gone when I left for work, but it could have been moved by you or a D&D tow truck... hopefully by you!

  5. You are gonna love the T1R's... they just stick all summer long!

Never heard of Fastrack... do you use them for all your service?

These T1R's are pretty incredible in the rain... and with the amount of rain we've been getting locally, I am glad they are on the car! I'm not sure if I can classify them as equal to the GY Eagle F1 DS3's, but they are definitely close!

Today the entire highway had 1/2 inch of standing water and I was fine...

The Jeep ahead of me on my commute into work had quite a scare when on 93 North heading just out of Boston it swerved and did a 180, before it just barely tapped the jersey barrier, which caused it to spin around the other 180, and complete the full revolution, before driving on in the right direction!

    Yikes!

I was plenty far back, and no one was too close to him, so it was all good! I gave him the thumbs up when I pulled by him... he was too shocked to take his white knuckles of the wheel, but his buddy in the passenger seat gave me the thumbs up back!

Lucky all the guy needs is a new tail light!
