  1. Instead of reading this entire 53 page thread I just have three simple questions.

Background: I get this popping clicking whatever noise when giving it moderate gas and pulling onto a highway from my road (90 degree turn) when it's cold. However it seems to go away after about 30 min of driving, although I can't be sure. My car is stage 1. No suspension mods and just under 50K mi...

Question 1: Did anyone ever figure out what causes this?

Question 2: Should I bring to dealer? I still have powertrain warranty.

Question 3: Is this harming the car?

  2. Hey,that was me,nice car yourself! I love the OBP for our cars. My exhaust is a borla catback and a gutted stock dp, how does it sound from the outside? My friends have told me its louder than the inside but I never get a chance to hear it...lol

It wasn't that noticeable at regular cruise but I could def hear it at WOT. I have a Megan Quad tip sitting in the garage at my parents house, been debating putting it on. That's why I was curious about yours. I was on my way to work btw lol. Working 12a-8a sucks.

  3. First off the cts is paid in full so I have no payments, second I wanted power and class.. Otherwise I would have went and bought a gto or some other American piece of garbage that can only go straight lines for the cost of 5k ...Third, your new girlfriend is my old news... And yes I'm currently living in an apartment with my fiancée until we find a house in westchester...stir stir stir stir

CTS-V is a POS sorry to tell you. Who buys a Cadillac? They aren't even classy anymore. Not to mention they have NO power compared to other similar vehicles. If you wanted power and class you shoulda got a benz, bmw, etc.

  4. Thanks for the write up! My back element died recently but I'm not sure I'm up for this. Then again, it's a Sunday night and I'm tired so maybe another day I'll feel more up to it.

I saw a part number posted (64111AG14A). Is this for the bottom element or the back element?

    Cheers!

    64111AG14A is the bottom element.

I have never donw the back but the bottom wasn't bad, you have to have the tools tho. Also gotta be careful when taking the seat out not to scratch anything.
