ok, its rca to rca. Does that mean the radio needs to come out again? is there a head-phone type jack amplifier I can use?

Installed mine. Everything went fine, however the sound is not much better/louder than the FM modulator. Does the GLI suck up some of the sound?? if so, I may try to eliminate it.
