  1. Welcome Rival! Also I use Firefox and IE9 and couldn't see the pic, Naseem. Just nothing to click on for me. It says there is an attachment but nothing to click on!
  2. That custom work looks top notch, that shop did a great job.
  3. I can't see the pic! Hope they get it the way you want it!
  4. You have viable reasons so I will go easy on you And this is something I (and many others) have said! Here, here!
  5. I believe ChasWG did his lights with the halo that has 3 different colors, he might be able to give you a little more info on how they work: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/blacking-out-your-headlamps-not-weak-heart-165496.html Also, just youtube search some of these and there are vids showing their setup/use.
  6. Did you read his vendor post regarding the lights? There is a lot of info there. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/idrvslo-headlight-modification-and-clearing-service-160048.html Basically there are 2 main options. 1. Send him your entire headlight housing and he modifies them to what you want and sends them back or 2. He buys a brand new set and does the work to your needs and then sends them to you. With option 1 you have a 2 ways to do it, a core swap meaning he has a set of headlights that he modifies to your needs, sends them to you (full payment required) then you swap yours out and send your "stock" ones back to him and he refunds the core charge. OR you send him your cores (entire light housing) and then he modifies them and sends them back to you (less up front money needed). I chose the second method of buying a set of cores (he actually bought them with my money) and then he does the work and sends them to me and I have them installed. I then keep my stock cores in a box in the crawlspace if I ever want to go back to stock. For the light options I think you are overthinking it. unless you get "demon eyes" they lights go on when you turn your lights on. The angel eyes might be turned on with the fol light switch, not sure. But for me I just did the blacked out headlights and they are simply plug and play. He's pretty good about getting back to people, though I think he just got married so he might be tied up in a certain room of the house at the moment.
  7. Heh, just feel like I was beating a dead horse. When you getting those custom headlights? I assume you will go with Scott (IDRVSLO)?
  8. I like that second shot. Why are there yellow circles in the middle of your wheels (centercaps) on an otherwise flawless victory?
  9. Yes. Yes. There are predrilled spots for a license plate to be attached to the bumper on all models, the spots are just not drilled all the way through. Its like an X shape indention you can see if you look close to my bumper BUT I told my dealer not to put a front plate on (even though its the law here in IL) because I didn't want it put on - my risk. I feel as though I might have spent to much time talking on this topic.
  10. I don't want to put screws in my bumper so I just didn't put the front plate on my new LGT. If I get a ticket for not having it (since our laws have not changed yet YET) I will get the tow hook mounting bracket plate by Grimmspeed until its legal not to have one. I'd rather pay $70 for that than drill into my bumper for a stupid & ugly front plate...
  11. Update for the Swift springs I have installed: Car is feels more planted with greatly reduced body roll when cornering. Side note: braking seems more responsive too (slightly) which I believe is due to less body rake (is that what it's called?) when reducing speed. Meaning, when you put the brakes on the ass doesn't come up as much and the front doesn't drop as much so it feels as though the brakes bite a little better. Could be just a sensation after springs but it was noticeable as soon as I got in the car the first time after the install. Also, I think I might try a tire with a little more sidewall next go round. the drop has settled in now and when going through a car wash near me, it has a little down slope to get into and the bottom of the car's frame near the left front tire rubs against the guide rail in the car wash entry. If it was on level ground there would be no issue, after I get flattened out everything is fine. Kind of irritating since I have a club membership for $20/month unlimited car washes... I love the lower aggressive stance and there is really no other drawbacks that I have found from driving on these springs for a while now. Hitting potholes are just as devastating with these springs as with the stock springs (I need the Bilstiens to make this up I think ). These springs are about the stance and the feeling/response when cornering.
  12. I had him buy all new cores and do the work and send them to me. This is the most expensive route but that allowed me to keep my stock headlights. This is my daily driver (DD) so I can't be without my lights for any significant amount of time. I have my stock lights in a box in the crawlspace to return my car to stock in the event that I sell it, I can then sell the painted lights for some return on the investment.
  13. I was suggesting you get blacked out headlights since you painted your grill. The headlights are big and have a lot of chrome (unneeded) so I got mine blacked out. I got tint on my windows too, which is nice. Just 35% though, classy not to dark. Yes, saw the exhaust vid, was a good note.
  14. Maybe He-Man will lend you some power. http://powet.tv/powetblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/StyleGuideImage_Resized.jpg
  15. +1 Ken, rolled? Those look like rubberband tires though, maybe such low sidewalls don't require rolling? Though, I though you had springs installed. Answers, must have answers. Ride's looking pimp.
  16. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/idrvslo-headlight-modification-and-clearing-service-160048.html I had my headlights done by IDRVSLO (Scott), you can see them here (page 6 specifically): http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/new-rogue-mods-begin-154098.html
  17. Nah, not putting my finger down my throat, just gold rims aren't my style. Though the look of gold rota grids on a blue 5th gen (like mine) looked pretty damn good, they made me question not liking gold rims for sure. Did you have them powder coated?
  18. Cool, as long as you are happy that is all that matters!
  19. Hmmm, I am on the fence on this one. I am not a gold rim guy but I can't make up my mind if I like or dislike these.
  20. Q300 (which I have) is the quietest I have heard. Though if you just go axle-back (instead of catback) you might have more options.
