  1. I take it you moved? I may be visiting old Portsmouth this weekend. I have to hit up The Friendly Toast again before I move to the West coast in 2 weeks.
  2. Spotted 20thGTI2LGT yesterday around 430 yesterday sitting behind a Forester waiting to turn right onto RT.32 in Norwich, CT.
  3. Hey thanks man. I'll deffinately attest to 20ths car being one very sexy machine. The GRP with Black interior looks very good!
  4. Spotted a very nice Spec.B today on the Sub Base (in Groton, CT) today parked on the street right next to Lewis Hall. I didn't want to stare through the window and find out what number it was.
  5. That's right! You got kicked the F- out!
  6. To explain some things to everyone else on the board who is not familier with this strech of road. Where this happened is on a short strech of freeway that has an on ramp (which both 20th and I had driven up) that is about 500 yards from the end of the freeway that ends in two on-ramps to I395 (one north and one south). It's also the route people who have just lost stupid amounts of money at Mohegan Sun go to go back to New York/Jersey. You have a normally frightening mix of people driving anywhere from 35 to 80 MPH, sometimes dropping from 80 to 15 MPH for either one of the on-ramps abruptly. 20th was not really driving like an idiot, he was driving that way to survive on that road. It happens all the time. I just have to bust your balls. It was a very nice suprise to look in my rear-view and spot a very pretty LGT, and a driver that actually waved! Very cool.
  7. I heard the BOV when he came off the gas and onto the brake, with a fair amount of dive, and came within 3~4 feet of the back of the Dodge.
  8. GRP LGT Lim. sedan today on Rt. 32 in Norwich followed me from one of the stop lights by Mohegan Sun, where we exchanged waves, up onto Rt.2A then headed south on 395 while I headed North. I think I heard a BOV when the driver left off the gas just before stuffing it into the back of an Intrepid, smooth. I'm fairly certain it was either Tomtom78 or 20thGTI2LGT. I couldn't get that good of a look at the driver, and I've never met 20thGTI2LGT in person. There's just too many GRP LGT Lim. sedans in the area!
  9. Spotted a heavily tinted Spec.B today in Norwich, CT on Main St. sitting in the turning lane for New London Turnpike. After I got over my shock I gave a thumbs up while turning left past the car. Driver gave the "3-finger-steering-wheel-wave" back.
  10. You do know that a medium gray/tan-ish Camery is the ultimate bank robbery getaway car, right? It's rolling urban camo. They, like chicken tastes, look like every other car on the road and anyone can/could be driving one. They're also stupid easy to drive. When I go on a crime spree I plan on doing it in a medium gray/tan-ish Camery.
  11. ABP Originally wanted OBP, dealer couldn't get it, but could get ABP. Now, I like ABP much more than OBP.
  12. Do you know where Bella Fiora (sp?) or Uncas on the Thames is? Right by there. When I get back from the trip I'm on right now I'm deffinately up for a meet or something.
  13. DAMN IT, that is with in a 5 minute walk from my house!!! That's not my car you spotted, I've never seen that car in the area before, and I'm pissed that I wasn't around to have a double spotting! In any case I just found out that one of the people that lives in my development has the stock black LGT sedan that I've been waving to on RT. 12 every couple of days. I was opening my garage up with the LGT-W TR when he happened to be walking by with his kids. We stopped and chatted for a while, nice guy, impressed with his LGT, likes mine - not the wagon part, and wanted to know what I thought was the best mod I've done so far...he's infected.
  14. either a Spec. B or silver LGT sedan last night in Norwich, CT at about 8pm on New London Tpke heading toward Main St.
  15. No, I'm agreeing with your assesment that even if you paint the car yellow and add a light bar you're not going to be noticed or spotted. However, if you strap a blowup doll to the front of your car; that could change everything.
  16. Damn it! None of those ABP wagons in the RI area were/are me. I'm going to take a road trip down to Norfolk VA this weekend, stopping in Hershey PA. Maybe someone else will spot me! BTW: tomtom thanks, I saw that they are not RE92's but didn't get a chance to see what they are.
  17. I GOT SPOTTED!!! And conversely spotted someone else from the site as well. He just got the jump on me. It was kinda one of those ubber geeky Scooby fan moments. I think we might have annoyed that Pacifica, oh well. BTW, it was good to meet you in person finally. On my way out of Subway I found a last generation Outback Limited wagon parked next to me in the back of the parking lot. Oh, and what tires are those?
  18. OBP LGT C-dan on RT.12 near Preston, CT. It was heading in the direction of Groton. I waved, but I think the driver was confused.
  19. GRP OBXT 5MT at New London Sub Base gas station @ ~1000 today. I talked to him/you and informed him/you about this website.
