Was curious about that actually, is it possible to strip apart an ipod 3g cable and tap into both the audio and power wires (power from a separate component due to the 5v of course)?

Sebastian and company, has anyone ever heard of a 3.5mm female aux input that can be installed on a drilled piece of factory plastic? Would Cobb Street Tuner for the '05 MT work for the '05 5EAT? When life settles back down, live tuning would sure be nice for an eventual learning guy, along with RR of course! Even if it's completely unnecessary
