Update on the Aluminum “ULTRA-POWER“ arms: they may very well be junk. Car felt super solid for the first 120 miles are so. In the last week it’s developed a clunk and pop in the front when stopping or turning. Need to get the car in the air to check, but I strongly suspect the balljoints May have already gone bad.

 

Guess you get what you pay for, just wish I hadn't dropped $500 in labor swapping them out and aligning the car to find this.

I have AAA in Michigan with full coverage for my car loan on my 2009 GT. I'm 30 and my insurance is about $1,000 per six months. My deductible is $500.

 

EDIT: I also have a good driving record with no points on my license.

MI is a "no fault" state so insurance is much higher than anywhere else.

What happened to the Spec B shift knob I gave you?

I just wanted the heat shield, which I picked up tonight and checked out the cts-v. Josh threw in the shift knob for a package deal

you pick it up and I dont care. Think th estock shift knob is floating around as well.

BTW found my old COBB heat shield with a broken tab on it. Anyoen know a aluminum welder? If so like 10 bux and pick it up.

If I make this meeting... maybe it will be with a new Prius and not my LGT.

also, how are the swift springs on the bilsteins. I have an 06 spec b as well...

I think they're a great combo. I love the ride and the stance, I paid about 300 shipped from mannengineering on this board.

Looking to go to stage 2+ for now...my subaru has been my least modified of all the cars I've owned. So far all I have is a cobb sts w/bushings, swifts on the stock bilsteins, tint, act 6 puck sprung clutch w/streetlite FW, 10" sub/amp, painted spec B wheels, modded the NAV and seatbelt chimes. thats it!

Also, have to pickup some new redline boots and install my mediaplayer w/20 GB HD.

I guess I can blame all of you for seeing your cars at the meet. Especially Peter with the damn brembos and prodrives
