  1. It was... hence the whole . I was laughing with you, not at you... Hope to see your comedic self at the meet.
  2. Talk about an oxymoron... Yea, my place is by Elver Park, so I'll sponser a couple of drinks afterwards if people are interested (I'll have to look into drinkin at the park, not sure if it's ok...) Now I just have to find a grill and get some food to cook up! If anyone is a fan of disc golf bring your discs because Elver Park has a SWEET course. Other than that there is fishing, soccer fields, etc. at the park. I'm guessing 100+ cars
  3. Wasn't an issue for me until I tried to get the damn things back in-and then I only needed to use more force. Just make sure that you are using the best fit screw driver and a lot of pressure to avoid stripping them... Good Luck!
  4. I know for a fact that this is going to be pretty big. Hopefully we can avoid any asshattery b/c the cop shop[ is like a block away... Agreed on this the first meet of the year. You guys should come out to Auto X in Milwaukee at Miller Stadium if you're interested. I'll be at everyone possible.
  5. See post above. Also check out: http://madisonstreetcars.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=741 for 2008 auto X events-I'll be at as many milwaukee events and maybe a couple of others.
  6. Very good question, I'd like to know as well. At the same time, is the GLI directional (does it need to have the male end closest to the board?
  7. Mark your calenders! April 19th- Meet at Elver Park... http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2227969&page=1 When? April 19th 2008 Noon till whenever (Already Checked Madison Events Calendar so we should have available parking) Where? Elver Park (Its much more secluded than Warner and much cleaner) Why? We all know why Who? As usual, everyone is always welcomed Hey guys hows it going? Well it looks like spring is coming around the corner and I haven't seen a spring meet besides the cruise meet which Hi-Tech Honda Girl created, which sounds like its going to be a blast but isn't till May, and some of us may not be willing to drive all the way out there. I know there will be a lot of very ambitious Honda enthusiast ready to show off their rides before that. So lets not break tradition now, every year since the Spring of 2004 there has always been a Spring Honda-Tech meet in Madison http://images.honda-tech.com/set1/smile/emthup.gif . Through all the ups and downs each meet had, I believe you wouldn't find one person from previous years not enjoy their selves. So the date is set and final! I know there was a lot of confusion last year due to weather issues and what not but its WISCONSIN SPRING WEATHER, this shit is always changing, don't be too skeptical that a week before the meet meteorologist are predicting rain. As far as grilling goes everyone for their selves unless someone is willing to organize one? I would be down Milwaukee Caravan anyone? I don't know if i'll be traveling back home and coming back up that saturday like last year, but usually its really nice when everyone from Milwaukee caravans up there. So i'll just set-up a time a spot for you guys to meet up. MILWAUKEE CARAVAN TO MADISON Where: as usual it nice to meet at Brook field Sq right off of I94 When: 10:20-10:30 and head out around 10:45-11:00 On Saturday April 20th there is an AutoX meet... http://www.scca-milwaukee.org/Solo/2008/08sched.htm I'll be at both, hope to see some of you there!

  9. It seems as if I might be having a similar problem; I only get music out of one channel right after the install-and I took everything apart to verify that I had plugged the GLI in completely. Can you explain how you would be able to solder the wires directly onto the board? I have good soldering equipment and could do it if you explained it well enough-but I also have the GLI so I don't know if that will be a problem.
  10. I've also purchased the AmpliRider and have a decent first impression. He solders these by hand too, but I haven't had a chance to pull them apart and look at them as closely yet. One thing I noticed is that in order to use the AmpliRider with the Jazzy mod you will need to buy some sort of adapter (male to male cord or otherwise).
  11. Indeed he does. I just purchased a Jazzy board and GLI. I'll be doing the install this weekend and I'll be sure to post up and problems as well as the verdict! Quick shipping and everything will suffice. I work at an HVAC sensor manufacturer where we actually produce circuit boards. I noticed that his was built/soldered by hand. I'm very glad that you went with the heatshrink as it would be very suseptable to shorting otherwise with the resistors that you have angled. I bet those ribbon "clips?" were a PITA to solder! Overall I'm satisfied with the product and I'm the quality manager at my work so you know I'm anal !!! Jazzy, if we weren't so damn busy with our products I'd offer to try to get these boards Wave Soldered for you, it would really increase the solder joint quality (not to say that they aren't that great, they will function as intended). Also note that the boards would be stronger if they were bigger allowing for the resistors to lay flat. You could also reverse the ribbon input and output "clips?" are at as to allow for the resistors that are in between those traces to be more evenly spaced in the area where there is nothing (same side as the audio output, opposite end). As for increasing the space, I'd assume that you made the board with the CD player in mind, but I will find out for myself this weekend!!! Thanks again! Matt Wagner
  12. Some sort of racing would be a sweet time, even if it is a just cart...but what would really be sweet is if we went to an autocross in MKE or drag racing event at union grove! That would be my suggestion
  13. Sadly this year I did not receive any mods for christmas.... I got an '05 LGT instead!!!
  14. I'm from Madison too-more like Merona. '05 LGT and I love it!!! As for a meet, a couple of us should get together sometime and roll around the nearby country and take some sweet picks!
