Most major companies that produce quick detach silencers recommend using rocksett when attaching the muzzle device to the barrel.
-
Because that is what you are supposed to use when mounting suppressor compatible muzzle devices

Haven't had a chance to weigh it yet. That is the one problem with variable power optics, they add a decent amount of weight. update: Rifle by itself is 7lb. The optic and mount are 1lb 9oz

It is one of their limited run MilSpec TDP SR-15 lowers. Rail is the URX4 Mlok. I ended up getting a Daniel Defense 14.5 1/7 LW mid barrel for this build. Most recent purchase. Sig P320. Fullsize slide and barrel with a compact frame. Installed some trijicon HD night sights and an Apex flat trigger. http://i.imgur.com/qCrHqGml.jpg

After shooting both the compact and the fullsize, I can honestly say that I really prefer the fullsize P320. There was a distributor that was doing compact frames with fullsize slides/barrels. I should have picked on up when I had a chance. Also, the flat trigger definitely makes it feel better.

Yeah, that is what everyone is saying. I left Shot Show a couple hours before the announcement was made, would have loved to be at the Glock booth when they all found out . It will be interesting to see how the final army P320 is configured.
-
Lol, they might just start requiring two cylinder releases. Kind of like what Taurus uses on some of their larger caliber revolvers.
-
Nice revolver. I've always been more partial to the L frame revolvers
-
There was rumor of it a little while ago, but nothing concrete until recently. Will have to check them out at shot show.

The CCP is an awesome gun! It has great ergonomics, low recoil due to the delayed gas system, very accurate and user friendly to an extent. I shot one at Shot Show and absolutely love it. From a shooters standpoint, it is a good gun for beginners or people looking for low recoil. My only complaint is the field strip and re-assemble. It can be a little tricky and if it is not done right, you may need to take it to a gunsmith.

Just an FYI, the firearm in the picture is a Mil Spec model, not a Range Officer.

Dyno tune this past week after getting a new downpipe installed! http://i.imgur.com/n6mbVW2l.jpg -
Same reason I hated carrying my Wilson Combat. Plus, some departments are really bad about taking care of your items once they get to evidence.

Congrats! It is a slippery slope. Before you know it, you will be up to your ears in stamps!

I ended up just picking up a set of Magpul grips. Decent texture and they were only $20

Uh oh.......I think I broke it....... http://i.imgur.com/GSlQ59nl.jpg?1 Kidding, It's Ok! Been resisting getting another 1911 for months now. I haven't had one for a couple years and have been going back and forth about getting one. Randomly, my local shop got in some used lightweight operators and were selling them at a decent price that I just couldn't resist. This was the best out of the 3 when it came to wear and sights. What do you guys prefer to use for grips? In the past, I mainly stuck with double diamond, but am looking to change it up. http://i.imgur.com/RI2oVLJl.jpg

I love the Legion series, especially the SA only 226.

Thanks, I've been looking for a good revolver for a while now. I have my J-frame, but I wanted to get something a little bigger. My buddy owns a gun shop, so he lets me know when some of the nicer older ones come in. Missed out on a really nice no-lock 686 and passed on a couple 19s (-4 and -5). Ended up getting this 66 for about $200.

Just picked up this S&W Mod 66-1. Just tore it apart and everything seems to be in good condition. Now I just want to find different grips for it http://i.imgur.com/FAFEKiVl.jpg

Aside from the actual struts themselves, is there anything else that I should think of replacing at 86k? -

Just picked up a 09 LGT, want to improve the suspension and handling. Car has about 86k miles on it. Should I replace the struts when I swap out the springs?
