Honestly just getting settled back in. Life has been pretty hectic with the move. Shop is finally set up and operating 100%. Thanks for asking!
Eric! Nice work man, car looks killer! Thanks for the picture!
wait, weren't you in PA before? you moved clear across? PCS?

only difference is that the other shot the car itself appeared in black and white (especially the tails and headlight) but the background was still in color.

the tails aren't tinted. its a camera effect setting on my Canon Powershot SX10IS. the tints are 30%. Do plan on tiniting or smoking the tails in the future. Only greens and certain shades of yellow show.

Mine had crank sensor broken and crank tooth as well. Mine would also looses power and jerk, stalled twice. Warranty covered it on my 09. I wouldn't buy a car from all American Subaru, saw things and had experiences with sales managers, but their service department is very good.

that is a beautiful setup! and why would scott give up an LGT except for a newer one? (I did! rocking a 2012)
-
Hey Scott, still a fan of your work. my 09 LGT is gone and replaced by a 2012. :-) hope to head your way sometime.

I like the TSW...

Wish I had somewhere too do this kind of stuff, my last residence, I had enough space for about 12 lgts to get their clutches done and my landlord got the bright idea to build I cvs and yet another strip mall in new jersey...

ditto jersey

I kinda miss lakewood... 11 years since.

least the car was clean..

Slushbox? Maybe. I drive a MT so I don't personally know what it does with the TCU. MT? Modulate your foot better. Hell, S# makes less power than S anyway.
mine's mt

SI-Drive is completely useless anyway.
I disagree.

troopers ever give you any problems with your tints?
ill be making my way back home from school to North Eastern CT this summer home along with me coming home 35% all the way around are coming to.
(with the factory tinted glass around 85% its more like 28%)
Check local laws, there is something in NJ (which allows exactly 0 tint up front), that if you have a prescription from an optometrist (eye doctor right? Its 2 am), it is legal and you cannot receive a ticket for it. (Disclaimer, I AM NOT A LAWYER. do your own research)
Hope this helps.

Here's my specB as she stood in the garage today with the new summer setup.

Resurrecting my own mega thread. Managed to finish my CarPC version 2. Actually works well.
Foxconn Nettop D510
2 Gb RAM
Carnetix P1900
Xenarc 700 TSV - refurbished ( I refurbished my own original screen for 110 bux)
Centrafuse 1.47 (vintage 2007 - maybe old school but I like it)
iGuidance 4
TreeHugger SSM (embedded)
The neat thing is that I imaged the old hard drive (from a Toshiba) onto a new hard drive to use in this new CarPC; I did a windows fresh install without deleting or re-formatting the existing partition; identified the working WinXP N-Lite folder; accessed the drive onto another PC as an external USB drive and removed the old Windows install; reinstalled Centrafuse and I was good to go. Most other programs, including iGuidance; Treehuggage SSM; RomRaider; ECU explorer worked. I did have to install the drivers for screen and Tactrix but by no means was this a lengthy install, even with completely new hardware. After I reinstalled Centrafuse, even my old settings stayed the same.
Now the PC starts and shuts down automatically, controlled by ignition and the smart PSU. I have no idea why for 3 years I still used a little button to turn on/off my PC. Hibernating the PC causes issues - changes the resolution and so on but I figured why bother; I will just make it shut down instead of hibernating. I am sure it is some software problem which I may or may not tackel by spring. Boot time to fully operational about 45 seconds.

Got that Engine Start button? :-P
