Newbie question here, can you elaborate on what RR stands for? Is that these people https://www.rr-racing.com/ ? 6 pot looks awesome....wonder by how much that would throw off bias.
On a related note: any sort of brake bias calculations with just a wilwood 4pot front upgrade and stock LGT rears? Trying to see what pad combo would give me the best balance so as to no throw off things by too much. Maybe wilwood bp10s on front but not sure on rear (aggressive street use/daily driver). If someone knows, this would save me from spending hundreds more in a matching sti brembo kit . Saw this thread which was super helpful https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/bbk-brake-bias-list-30088.html but obviously limited.
Yes that's the one. I did a wilwood 4 pot dynapro kit in the rear to pair with the RR Racing 6 pot front. Unless you're running lots of rear down force the rear brakes aren't doing much, so I wouldn't be too concerned with brake bias.
See this thread for the rear kit. We weren't able to get the distribution worked out so the group buy never got going. However there's photos of how we machined the rear caliper to fit the lgt

I would have loved a 911 but being a buyer in the current market is insane. Made this QV look like a real bargain

Hey guys,
So after the end to my Legacy, I got an Alfa Romeo Giulia and had that for 3 years. My dream car went up for sale so I just picked this quadrifoglio up. It reminds me a lot of my old Legacy, the color, the wheels, the power, the suspension feel. Kind of takes me back to when we talked about the Legacy STi with twin turbo H6. This car does have twin turbos and a V6. Had some fun on some back roads yesterday and it performed flawlessly. Alfa resolved the software issues that journalists complained about. Definitely no worse than BMW or Audi in reliability/quality 2018 model year if you ask me.
Cheers!

Brake ducts will help a lot or go bigger. I upgraded to the RR Racing bbk from this kit when the car was making 400whp. The RR Racing kit was amazing and rotors were inexpensive as well.

My car has been pretty static lately and I am not really sure what I want to do with it.
Maybe I'll sell it and #vanlife That works well with a wife, kid and two large dogs
Just enjoy the car. I wish I had driven mine more.
Hope you guys are doing well. I know you're crazy busy this year, but if you ever want to get out of the house (when it's not for work), let me know.

I want to get out to sonoma, thunderhill, and Laguna seca this year with the lgt.

The Palatov D4 is almost ready for track day rents and some racing action. I can't wait to get on track again with "Pearl"! The last bit of work was installing the Arcflash dash and hooking it up to the Geartronics sequential shift. Here's the dash being calibrated to the shifter: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_plMT0iSEZqfxPNLjvj9-SeRAnp9NYbB/view?ts=5a77ebd3
The paddle shift sequential with auto rev matching is so cool!
And RFactor2 now has a beta version of Portland International Raceway (PIR) in the sim. The two closest tracks that I drive most often are in the sim. I'm racking up some great sim time that I hope translates into faster real-time laps this year.
Nice. Any plans to come to sonoma?

05 ecu is 32 bit. The big difference is 07+ using can bus for everything.

nice, thanks for sharing the info

I thought Mark's is silver

I'm going to make my own via the nasioc thread this october.
how are you going to do the flex fuel tuning setup?
-
ouch. hopefully the scoring isn't too deep or you'll need a new case and pistons then.

Single avcs cars with stock oiling clearances should run a 10mm oil pump due to less oil being bypassed vs an 11mm pump.
-
What oil are you running for track now? I am wondering if rotella is foaming on me (10mm pump) and causing lower pressures above 5k rpm. I have to wire up the temp sensor to confirm but I have an air oil cooler in the front grille.
-
Good explanation. My car has some tight spots with the t bolt clamps getting in the way. These would fit nicer. Any bulk discount?
-
how much pressure are these rated for?
-
Oh you have a stroker block. Yes I have heard of cases where the blocks are not clearanced quite enough and the rod touches. I know of people who had this happen with Eagle rods on stock crank and stock block.

can you do a leak down and see if you can isolate it to a valve?
-
Yeah basically if you buy a Koyo rad, it has no warranty after you drive with it. Mine started leaking where the core met the end tank. No warranty. Had a repair shop epoxy it. So far it's holding.

Awesome. I'm drooling over the dry sump setups..

No prob I was gonna shoot you an email before but was traveling. Just sent you one now.

Haven't tried yet but with the muffler bypass valves open in race mode on this car, it sounds pretty awesome. Hope you're doing well!
