  1. But does it rip thru the Webster tunnel like the Leggy? Still a standout memory from an amazing build. Glad to hear you’re motoring on.

Haven't tried yet but with the muffler bypass valves open in race mode on this car, it sounds pretty awesome. Hope you're doing well!

  2. Newbie question here, can you elaborate on what RR stands for? Is that these people https://www.rr-racing.com/ ? 6 pot looks awesome....wonder by how much that would throw off bias.

On a related note: any sort of brake bias calculations with just a wilwood 4pot front upgrade and stock LGT rears? Trying to see what pad combo would give me the best balance so as to no throw off things by too much. Maybe wilwood bp10s on front but not sure on rear (aggressive street use/daily driver). If someone knows, this would save me from spending hundreds more in a matching sti brembo kit :p. Saw this thread which was super helpful https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/bbk-brake-bias-list-30088.html but obviously limited.

Yes that's the one. I did a wilwood 4 pot dynapro kit in the rear to pair with the RR Racing 6 pot front. Unless you're running lots of rear down force the rear brakes aren't doing much, so I wouldn't be too concerned with brake bias.

See this thread for the rear kit. We weren't able to get the distribution worked out so the group buy never got going. However there's photos of how we machined the rear caliper to fit the lgt

  3. Hey guys,

So after the end to my Legacy, I got an Alfa Romeo Giulia and had that for 3 years. My dream car went up for sale so I just picked this quadrifoglio up. It reminds me a lot of my old Legacy, the color, the wheels, the power, the suspension feel. Kind of takes me back to when we talked about the Legacy STi with twin turbo H6. This car does have twin turbos and a V6. Had some fun on some back roads yesterday and it performed flawlessly. Alfa resolved the software issues that journalists complained about. Definitely no worse than BMW or Audi in reliability/quality 2018 model year if you ask me.

    Cheers!

  4. My car has been pretty static lately and I am not really sure what I want to do with it.

Maybe I'll sell it and #vanlife :D That works well with a wife, kid and two large dogs :D

Just enjoy the car. I wish I had driven mine more. :)

Hope you guys are doing well. I know you're crazy busy this year, but if you ever want to get out of the house (when it's not for work), let me know.

  5. The Palatov D4 is almost ready for track day rents and some racing action. I can't wait to get on track again with "Pearl"! The last bit of work was installing the Arcflash dash and hooking it up to the Geartronics sequential shift. Here's the dash being calibrated to the shifter: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_plMT0iSEZqfxPNLjvj9-SeRAnp9NYbB/view?ts=5a77ebd3

The paddle shift sequential with auto rev matching is so cool!

And RFactor2 now has a beta version of Portland International Raceway (PIR) in the sim. The two closest tracks that I drive most often are in the sim. I'm racking up some great sim time that I hope translates into faster real-time laps this year.

Nice. Any plans to come to sonoma?
