QSM on the 5 South before Harris Ranch [Coalinga Exit] w/Idaho Plates.

Today, parked on 22 ave and Rivera St, a black 05-07 LGT w/STi Decal on the rear.

Silver 2.5i with spoiler parked on 22ave. In sunset.

Black 2.5i with greddy plates on 19th ave.

from what i remember the lgt brakes are better than the 4pot from the wrx?

i would think a year old canon or nikon dslr would be a better deal/worth more for your money..

 

honestly i believe that dSLR are all pretty much the same ... its the lens collection/prices that should dictate which brand you go down...

 

Canon/Nikon own like 90% of the dSLR market (last i checked) so there are a lot more lens out there and as a result a lot more used lens which help w/the price department...

 

Nikon uses sensors designed by someone else (Sony i believe) while Canon uses their own. So again its more of how they feel in your hand & the lens collection imo

I feel like 6mp isn't enough these days. I work with 8 and it's not enough if I end up cropping.

 

it depends if you're printing, or if you posting them on websites/etc.

 

Printing, 6MP is more than enuf even if you crop. If you place them on say like pb, flickr, etc 6MP is also more than enuf, saying that the place a size limit on the photos that you upload....

i really those rims ... want a set for myself actually ... haha

Too much HDR in some of them, I think. But the shots themselves are nice. Esp. the Palace of Fine Arts. That one looks good.

New is ~700. What so good? Well 18mm to 200mm will pretty much cover every focal length ya will need. It's built more solid than the 18-105 and the 18-55.

 

Landscape family and sports. That's such a wide range. Landscape usually people use wide lens. Sports depends on indoor/outdoor. The 18-200 will do all you require but won't do anything particularly well. Good lens to use until you figure out how you shoot then you can get lens to compliment your style.

isnt the 14-24 the super stupid lens that no filter can fit cuz its super ginorimious

yeah ... the 18-200 is awesome. I want to switch to nikon for that ...

or just buy the 50mm and the 18-105

 

50 cant be that much money ... the canon version is ~$80
