  1. Well damn. I wouldn't even blame you if the S402s stayed on the Forester, it looks proper nice.
  2. @Fenrir1 what is the purpose of the Cusco front bar? Is it somehow attached to the chassis differently from the crash beam?
  3. Great work here. I'm only a few months in with my new (to me) spec.B and it's awesome to see these cars still being worked on. I read through this thread backwards and saw where you are, what you've gone through, and where you started. Truly inspiring.
  4. If this was covered in a previous page, I apologize... but how is it you keep coming up on all of these rare and unique parts??
  5. @SoobyDoobyDoo Thanks for the warm welcome! I really did luck out with this one. Spoiled all its life and sparingly modded before I acquired it. I'm definitely going to be putting more miles on it than the previous owners, but will be sure to keep up with the maintenance. For the backup camera with navi, I followed this post: https://www.legacygt.com/topic/112037-backup-camera-walk-through-4th-gen-w-nav/ and installed a camera I bought on Amazon. I feel like those who know, know... and it showed in the comments during this car's auction. @Fenrir1 Thanks, I actually referenced your thread while making my own decisions, so I appreciate you documenting yours so well! @Kojak Much appreciated! Can't go wrong with this suspension combo! I was tempted for a moment to go coilovers, but I didn't want to take the B out of the spec.B!
  6. Starting 2024 correct! WedsSport SA-99R's 18x8.5 +45 in Platinum Silver Black with flat cap option Michelin PS AS4's 235/40/18
  7. Seems I've been posting in the wrong place here's my previous posts starting from when I got mine last year
  8. 4-pot fronts installed. Painted the calipers with VHT cast aluminum, applied black logo decals, and sealed with VHT gloss clear.
  9. Thanks @buplew! I got mine through tirerack. Was surprised to see these in stock with them so I went for it.
  10. Some recent shots. Have been running the black powder coated 04 STI's that came with the car.
  11. Bilstein B8's installed and rear springs swapped for the ST2038021010's to help with the negative rake. It feels like I'm definitely getting more out of the STI springs than with the old (albeit relatively low mileage) OEM's. The shortened body is definitely noticeable for the front shocks whereas it's very slight in the rear. The ride is definitely more firm, but I really enjoy the amount of feedback I get while driving now.
  12. JDM headlights installed. I learned there are a few variations available. What I opted for was the more smoked chrome corner with black housing and a bluish tinted projector surround ring. I picked up a pretty beat up set on Ebay that were actually already stateside. I got confirmation that the HIDs worked so that was enough to pull the trigger. I used the Sylvania headlight restoration kit and they came out really good imo. Disabled DRLs, used the OEM harness spliced into the ballast and it used the same high beam socket. Slim bar is parking light and big corner is signal. Even with an amber bulb in the bar it's obvious when signaling what the intent is.
  13. Springs, dash cam, and backup camera installed. I also swapped in some JDM taillights that came in. Ended up with saggy butt, so I've ordered wagon springs in an effort to even things out (which I should have just done in the first place). Removing the rear trunk lid panel was scary af, but I got it off with no incident. Found what looks to be a proprietary passage for a backup camera left of the license plate lights, so I used that position for my camera. That worked in a way that didn't require drilling into sheet metal. If I had to do it again I'd have mounted it further rearward because I ended up having to ditch the one body clip to allow for me to slide the panel behind the camera and into position to snap in.
  14. A few things to get me started. Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 12V to 5V micro USB output adapter (not photographed) Natika backup camera (an Amazon product) STI sport springs Whiteline roll center kit (via the 20% mid-year madness going on) Awaiting an OEM mirror harness to use the auto dimming/compass power for the Garmin and a Molex connector and pins from Digikey to connect the backup camera to the nav. Should arrive this evening. Referenced (searched) a few threads regarding USDM spec.B Bilsteins and STI sport springs and opted to try out the GT automatic parts. Fun for the weekend!
  15. I figured there would potentially be some interest. They're popping up more infrequently! Glad to be back, thanks!
  16. Here's the auction where there are hundreds of pics: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2007-subaru-legacy-spec-b-7/
  17. Greetings all! I thought it about time I introduce myself. The name's Anthony, I'm in Los Angeles, and I am now the third owner of a 2007 spec.B with only 44K on it that I won on Bring a Trailer back in May. This is my return to the Subaru brand after more than a decade away.
