I had same problem with the Ipod charging too, ended up grounding it to one of the bolts holding the shifter down, and now I have no problems, This is on a 05 limited at.

Just installed the pro ipod kit, but when my ipod is plugged in, It doesnt show that it is charging the batteries, can anyone verify if it shows on your ipod that the battery is charging like it does with other chargers or does it not show up. I have verified that there is power going to the wire both before and after the inline fuse on the red wire, So either I have a bad cable or it doesnt show?
