  1. I don't think it does if you don't modify the car (which would void the warranty anyway). I know for insurance purposes, that AutoX is equivalent risk to normal highway driving. And with the exception of the tires and brakes (both wear items) and maybe wheel bearings eventually, autocrossing isn't all that hard on the car, as long as you're running a warm engine and you keep up on the maintance schedules and everything. Besides... it makes you a better driver on the street. I was there last sunday also, and it was a blast. And, Matt, it was nice meeting you. Next event in Milwaukee is May 4th. I think I'm going to try to get some in-car video for that one... I need to come up with a way to mount my camera... I'm thinking I'll try to mount it in front of the rear window, maybe I'll be able to even use the hole for the post of the rear headrest or something.
