Has anyone figured out a solution so when we install aftermarket roof spoilers like this and activate the rear nozzle water will still spray onto the rear windshield and not overshoot onto the bumper/ground?
-
first mod I made to my wagon was installing these with the cobb swaybars. Well worth it
Please remind me again exactly what do these end links do. Do I need to have larger aftermarket anti-sway bars already to reap the benefits?

Anywhere on the strut tower bar that has the Carbing logo emblem or badge?
-
Been out of the Legacy game for a while, are these the same struts/shocks that came on the USDM Spec.B?

The only rear bumper upgrade I'd want on my BP5! Too bad the shipping is insane esp right now

First time logging in in about 2 years lol This afternoon around 2:25pm on the 91 eastbound in the Cerritos area. Clean BSM GT wagon lowered with exhaust and roof rack. We followed each other until the 57 and waved goodbye when I went north and he kept going. So refreshing to spot another fellow wagon owner

I went to Subie Shop in Oceanside past summer for my 05 LGT 150k miles service done by Dylan who had been with Infamous. Unfortunately I have sold my LGT last week for dirt cheap and moving on as dad life only in 18 Forester XT.
Oh no Long! Haven't logged in for about 2 years to find that another OG owner is no more But congrats on the new kid

Spotted a stock looking DGM BL GT with New Mexico plate parked behind Exploratorium on Thur 10/21 around noon time.

Totally forgot to post this. Spotted a SWP BL GT with after minor change wheels parked on Leavenworth St. near Lombard St. on the evening of Wed. 10/20.

Doing alright I guess. I did get to take a very long and nice vacation in Japan a couple months ago. But the industry's not so hot right now so just hustlin' trying to get by so I can finally do something to my wagon.
All of your rides look so nice I'm feeling left out!

She was actually "ok" with it and just shook her head.
Haha Jim she must've had a very good cup of coffee that morning! Haven't seen you for the longest time...your BL got pretty!
-
Your kids were so well behaved I was impressed!

How come you opted for the Burn Up? Isn't it more expensive than the Spec.B bumper?
-
Oh? Did they come out with another version? This one looks rather "stock appearing". The only Burn Up I know is the picture in Post #70.
-
Jim, what kind of bumper is that?

Anyone know of a shop near San Diego (92122) to get brake pads replaced? At this point, I'm considering going all the way to Harman Motive, but not sure if they do maintenance, pricing, etc. They quoted me for HPS pads at $160 on all corners though. Any pointers?
:?
$160 is definitely for the parts only, and the price sounds pretty fair. But why would you want to drive all the way up to my neighborhood just to get those pads dropped in? Any local mechanic shop or that wrench money who lives down the street from you would be able to perform the job.
I'm sure HB does maintenance work too...go check out their new door buzzer!
-
Well all the body shops I know are custom / showcar specialists and they charge $$$
-
Where did you go? I'd tend to think nobody beats me when it comes to road scars on the front bumper.
-
Okay here's my late update. I went ahead and did the Hogzaust conversion a couple weeks ago and love it! My mechanic friend was able to loosen those stubbron bolts no problem and it sure helped that he's got way more tools than I do!
I ended up going with 2 thin washers for both side...2 thicks ones were just too loud. I may have to go down to just 1 thick washer once I install the up and downpipe, though.
-
Hmm...I gave it a try yesterday and I thought it was 14mm? Anyway it was a no-go since the stubborn bolts wouldn't budge (as expected). So I'm heading over to my friend's later on tonight to use his air gun muhahaha!
But damn I noticed the position of that top bolt sure is cramped...I have no idea how you guys managed to get enough space to work on it. Oh well I'm sure my friend will figure it out for me since he's a master mechanic.
-
Okay you've convinced me. I swung by the hardware store yesterday and picked up some stainless washers. 3/8 right? But I think with only 2 washers stacked the gap will be very minimal.
Here's a silly question, what size rachet would I need to undo the bolts?
-
So you really don't think there'll be a chance for the salt to get inside and around the piping/muffler/flange eh? Thanks for the input.
-
Had mine on for approaching 2 years now. I took them off to try stage 6 (yah, I know...it sounded like poo) and there was no real corriosion, even living in Iowa.
You leave those washers on there throughout the winter too? I'd like to give it a try but with snowboarding season quickly approaching...
