I think the HondaRic3rPaint.com was just sold out of the lime green color that every riced out honda needs on the wheels???

There's a drill mod for the stock BPV, might try that.
Clean your TB lately? IACV?
Getting it good and warm and sucking some distilled water through a vac-line carefully can help general carbon issues. I'll run a bit of methanol (gas-line dryer) alt with distilled water.
-
I mean, I guess you could use it to see how much vacuum you're pulling... Haha
So that makes it a 'suck gauge'?

Damn, you first gen guys give me hope that my wagon will be running and awesome for at least another ten years!

Notice that they like customizing cars and houses
Makes you wonder what abomination had to be sealed up in the garage...

^^ You've got enough space to put a couple of blinkity lights between those gauges!

hit it with acetone at the joint, then follow with PB/Kroil/etc.

Sooo...why 205s on an 8" wheel? Why not skinnier wheel or wider tires?
My two guesses:
Weight.
Got a hot deal on the tires.

Enjoyed the Miata, but was a tad small for me. The Boxster was much better fit wise for me. Miata might have won for pure fun factor, but the Porsche won on comfort and capability over all. Of course the price tag was 2x...

Not the early wrx's.nearly the same, the legacy turbo rear disc might even be thicker. However, if you get ahold of some 4pot/2pot 2006 wrx brakes it is an awesome upgrade because they're brembo copies.
06-07 WRX brakes are not brembo copies. They will save you weight on the corners, and they do look nice. I'm pretty sure you need an adapter or hub swap to get the rears to fit.

Napa fronts here without issues, ymmv.

The cost of the paint and wheels could exceed the value of the car. Not really what I would call rice though.

^ well they do resemble a certain era corvette wheel...

Anyone headed to OBX next week?

I am hitting about 18 psi now that the tune is almost complete. I am using a process west clone top mount and 93 octane fuel. The limiting factor is my stock injectors.
Did you upgrade the fuel pump? just curious.
-
It was around 950 I believe with shipping. Not sure about HP it hasn't been on a dyno still being E-tuned. I'm running it on stock fueling for now hitting 15 psi(should be about 17 psi when the tune is done)
17psi sounds low for an 18g??? I'm hitting 20-21psi on my BNR16g, running 650's
Maybe comparing apples to oranges here, though.
-
Just checking, but did you un-stake the knock-down-lock-down?

ATF is the spec fluid...

FWIW, I run the ForcedPerformance oil line. It was the one Bryan recommended when I got my turbo. About two weeks after I installed the FP line the Infamous Line was announced. I have ~35k miles without issue. Maybe tomorrow it will be a problem, but who knows...

^That sucks.
I changed my right side half shaft and front wheel hub this weekend. Car feels/sounds much better now. I suspected the bearing but couldn't tell for sure until I pulled the axle and brake caliper and turned it. Slight scraping noise, so ordered a new bearing. Ball joint was a b!tch, but other than that pretty straight forward.

I'm wanting 300whp on pump gas without maxing out a turbo and without the lag of a 20G.
What's your total mod list?
18g pretty much means a new clutch very soon. I've got about every supporting mod w/ 650cc injectors running 93oct on a bnr16g. My stock clutch won't hold if I really push it. But I've gotten another 30k+out of the stock clutch. I have a clutch masters ready to go in when I get around to it.
Are you getting dyno tuned? "making" XXX hp is kind of subjective. Different dynos, etc. I've been happy with the power level I have now. To give you an idea, imagine having the Stage 2 'drivability' of third gear while your in 4th. If your happy at ~290whp then the goal of reaching 300whp is just that, an arbitrary goal. I've never dyno'd my car, and at this point I probably won't. People ask what power I'm making and just tell them it's probably 280-300whp. A guy that builds a tunes mustangs drove my car and he thought I was underestimating. There are not too many LGT's around here, so anyone who rides or drives my car is usually surprised/impressed.

I'm running 20-21lbs on the stock BPV. I think some others have had issues though.
-
Also keep in mind that the stock TMIC really won't hold 18-20psi most of the time. A little epoxy and a couple big band clamps should hold things together though if you are not upgrading. Also there's the "bulletproof tmic" option.
