So...update on the blown engine...purchased a used 08 WRX motor with 20k on it....car is being shipped up to Agile next week to be fixed an tuned and I will be back on the road in no time!!! :) It only took 3 months

It was a regular production model so I'm guessing around 2-3k.....round about guess.....I have no idea the exact though...sorry

wheels, suspension, 6speed tranny, alcantara seats, and navigation with MT......oh yea and a badge on the trunk that says spec.B

^The '06 SpecBs all came with black/silver dash, tan headliner, and red leather seats. Woodtrim was not an option because all 500 vehicles that were made were identical (with the exception of a couple options...momo shifter, sti short shifter, and spoiler. I believe that is all of them).

My update as of right now: September replaced transmission and turbo @ 71K (mechanic error from previous clutch installation ) Brand new tranny, VF52 and light weight flywheel November - smoking horribly, idling like crap, and clanking noise (spun bearing? ) Used engine replacement coming soon! Possibly rebuild/upgrade when I take this one out Very frustrating that I will have put almost have of what the car is worth into it when I am done.....but we are upside down with it and really have no other options......plus I am too in love with my car to get rid of it

Wow that is all sorts of mix matched. SpecBs aren't common in Alaska because they didn't ship any up there to sell. When I first heard about the SpecB production in '05 I couldn't wait to see one/get one. I was stationed in Fairbanks at the time and when they came out I asked if they were getting any and they said nowhere in Alaska was going to.

I personally would have taken the 20k more miles. 2K less but that painted bumper, grille, and trunk lip is prolly worth that.

I don't think they made a similar number....I remember hearing from someone a while ago that they made like 1500-2000 each year after. I wonder where you could find that out??
