Fixed my dome light!
Interesting fact -- you don't have to desolder the original MOSFET. Just solder wires onto each of the pins going into the PCB, and then another wire onto the metal part on the back of the MOSFET (closest to the pins for the harness connectors).
Can you elaborate please? which pins go to where? Thanks.

Sorry, i haven't dug into mine so I'm not really sure yet.
Does your fuse blow immediately when you turn on the light?
-
Any pics of your new setup? bump

New question, my illumination fuse does not have 12v, anyone know which relay supplies it?
-
If i jump 12v to the A5 wire will that light up the backlights?
-
I wish it was that easy.

Can anyone tell me what their voltage is on the fuse inside the car for illumination? My backlit buttons are not working, and the first has some voltage but not 12. Thanks

Ever figure this out? I'm dealing with the same thing now.

Thanks, I see what you mean. I am not lowered at all, but it would probably still have clearance issues.

Looking for some input.. I couldn't resist picking up a nice set of 18x8 enki wheels today...I was initially planning on putting them on my bmw(which is what they came from), but I think the spec b would be better for them. So my problem is they are 5x120 with an inset of 42. I see I can get lug adapters that are 15mm thick, so will those along with the 42 inset cause an issue running 225/40/18 tires?

Does anyone know how to disassembled the outer cv joint?

autozone one says 3 year waranty...whats the OEM after being replaced post 100k?

Does anyone have a diagram or know what the polarity and voltage of the steering wheel radio control wires going into the roll connector should be? I am trying to trouble shoot nonfunctioning buttons.

sorry SBT, can you clarify? Nope...it can't be done. Or, nope...you don't know if it can be done?
I know it wouldn't be the most convenient DIY, but I do have an extra hour and the tools to do the job, and don't have an extra couple hundred bucks laying around so I would prefer to DIY.

any one know if you can just replace the bearing and race from the hub with a press? I see some aftermarket bearings alone.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/NATIONAL-32206-Front-Wheel-Bearing-/111048535067?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ALegacy%7CYear%3A2005&hash=item19db022c1b&vxp=mtr

Got mine all set up to stream music via Bluetooth, Only cost like $7. It works really well, I am using a usb Bluetooth receiver that I have hardwired underneath the center console. whenever I turn on the car it powers on and auto connects to my phone, sound quality seems the same as with using the aux Jack, which is great with my droid having beats audio. The bt only receives media sound, so for call sound I plug into the aux Jack. Loving this setup, thanks leptronix you saved me from buying a caska.

does anyone know if these are interchangeable?
