fronts needed a mild roll and rears rolled flat and shaved the parts where the fenders meet the bumber and rear door.

 

-1.7 fronts

-1.3 rears

 

ebay 06-07 front lip and Homedepot garage door sideskit extentions (going to pull them and fiber glass then perfectly straight adn soild)

Love the S-techs but want to go lower. Coils next year probally.

i just used a rubber grip to hold the strut and torqued it down. fairly easy. used this method with my old impreza back in the day.

HELP

 

Ok just finished one problem though. Buttoned her back up and noticed the top mount had some play. I figured the weight of the car would be enough to prevent it from spinning. In the fronts it was no problem. But the rears spin when i try to torque it down?

 

Is there a trick to to tightening the top mounts in the rears?

 

I really don't want to have to pull them out to do so.

also any differences when doing s-techs?

I want to do this but don't want to mess up my aftermarket alarm/starter. Anyone have insight on this?

I have a compustart starter/alarm on my 5MT. Is it safe to do this? Any others with after market alarms/starters do this?

I noticed some of you are running saggy butt spacers. I just picked up some S-techs that I'm going to ride for the next season or two before I get Coils. Are these worth getting?

Might be a dumb question but springs for a 2006 sedan GT is the same for a 2.5 non turbo sedan? Aboput to order but just want to be 100%.

Nice so 47" is the right length to order? It's hella cold out here and dont want to freeze trying to measure my trunk.

Looking for an more agresive drop on springs. Thinking Tein S-Techs since I've ran them on my impreza in the past with no complaints. Any thing with a simalar drop. Any vendors or sites you can recomend?

 

I'm getting coils in the future so not really concerned with the ride.

Yeah but having to buy wheels/tires and coils all at once hurts the wallet. And there is no way I'm gonna throw on wheels and not be lowered.

Looking for an aggresive spring while I save for coils. Recomendations? Or a inexpensice coil?

I decided to check the alignment after and at stock it was way low going by the alignment write up anyone else have to adjust it up that much? I talking like 1 foot up from the 25ft away rule. Part of me feel like I i moved it up a lot.

great info I'll be doing this once I do my HID install tonight. generally how off is it from stock? clockwise to lower or raise? clockwise left to right?
