  2. I just spent 4k for 100k maintenance parts, fuel upgrades, tune, and some supporting parts. In addition i still have to buy a turbo! One nice thing i was able to get everything i needed from Infamous so it was a one stop shop with great deals but things definitely add up. I could have gotten by a lot cheaper but I didn't want to half ass it. Spend some time reading this write up, very nicely done.

  3. Thats an awsome write up man, great job! You wanna swing on up and give us a hand? ;) Ever since he sold me his 5MT he hasnt been happy. I'm all for him trying it and I dont think I could take the auto either.
  4. In addition to the front LCA rear bushings, I also 08 STI Group N rear diff cross member bushings and rear diff bushings on my LGT. They fit.

Were they worth it? So when I go to remove / istall these LCA Group N front and rear bushings can just match up a socket with the inner sleeve and tap them in / out? Will I need to add any grease to the inside of these? A post earlier mentiond the suspenion grease but didnt go into much detail.

I also read on NASIOC where someone made a homemade puller. They used a pipe were the I.D. was bigger than the O.D. of the bushing but still fit on the arm. The pipe rests on the LCA. They used all-thread that goes through the pipe and bushing. On the bushing end the used flat washers that match up to the sleeves with a long nut.( the long nut allows you to still back the nut as it travels thought the LCA). On the open pipe end they used a piece of sheet metal with a hole through it and same concept. On this side though you will only need a regular nut.

Any opinions would be appreciated before i dig into this. Thanks

  5. Awsome thanks, I appreciate all that put the info in this thread, I did end up ordering both Group N's yesterday. I think it would have bothered me down the road that they were different. ^ i definately woulndt have done that one unless it was in the pics. Thanks to all who put the good info and part numbers in here.

Also, rallispec said they ordered some rear diff bushings for a legacy this week. They were 99 percent sure that they would fit since they were for the STI. They were group N mounts, anyone on here? i would love to hear some reviews and if they did fit?

  6. I just ordered my Group N rear bushing and I am debating on the front. The Group N front bushing is $54 anid the STI one is $36. For the little price difference wouldnt it be worth it to have the same stiffness on the LCA? or would you not notice any differece and be wasting $36? I get from this thread and the qualified people posting on here you wouldnt notice the difference and would just be wasting your money. Just making sure....
  7. Does anyone have a dyno chart with Stg 2 mods + Meth/water injection with a protune? I am curious to see what kind of numbers a LGT would post.

I had a Perrin TMIC, AVO CAI, CrucialP&P&C manis with a Grimmspeed x-over, Cucial UP, Perrin long catless DP and Perrin cans. I dont have a PDF of my dyno sheet but on 93 I hit 270 whp and 300 wtq. On meth I hit 270 whp and 340 wtq. I posted some recent comparible logs in the tuning section with a XO2 mid and y installed. Airboys sheets dont show that difference and Testes ran some numbers and suggested a 10 wtq difference. I have the meth for a future turbo upgrade on the TMIC, as its not really worth the gains or risk on the stock turbo.

  8. Yeah i just bought a used one on here and guess what??? Yeah, not in the box when it gets here. Of course i get the, "Ive shipped hundreds of parts and never had one come up missing" line. Now its my ass that has to deal with fedex and try to track this thing down if i can. Not to mention im sure the actuator's all bent up or something. Not to happy about it.... Now he has my money and im stuck paying for a part that i dont have yet because of his neglegence. I will say that it might not be his fault but if you ship it in the same box as an inlet pipe your probally not doing it right. I should send him a link to this...
  9. Has anybody had any luck contacting someone from Autonostics? I ordered my data logging cable 2 months ago and still havnt recieved it. I was just past 45 days when i tried to dispute it on paypal. Out of the 100 times ive called them the past month not once have i reached anyone. Same with the emails. Thats what i get for going cheap...
  10. I did mine last night with LFR7AIX's. As for the battery in or out I left mine in. I'm stubborn and just wanted to do that way since others have and I didnt want to reflash the ECU. Man, that was tight though, i thought about pulling it several times and will next time. I was glad to see my plugs were in great shape with 54k on the car with cobb stage 2 for 15k and a TDC e-tune since for 15k! After seeing a couple posts on here i was nervous. It was a good a time , hung out with the old man and threw a few back.
