let me clear this up. It's a bad one because I miss the promotion and already have a set of coilovers that's not good as this one.
Ok then forgive my almost aggressive tone in asking that way. Man I need a vacation bad !
Good news is…I have one set left and you could probably sell yours !
Just saying…..

It's actually a bad one.
I just sent you a PM asking you why its a bad one but since you put this out there…why is it a "bad one"??
Myles

huh, first time seeing this thread
is that a good EEK or a bad EEK ?

Myles,
Curious, how many miles until the coil overs break in? The Bilstiens took a few 100 miles and felt like they needed ore dampening.
With the zero's I would say 1500-2000 miles.

But the fronts are fine without helper springs. There is no play.
SWeet !
I might check and see for those who want the "bagged" look , ..maybe run a 7inch front main spring with helper…..
Myles

And how much more inset does your tire/wheel combo have over stock? Would the OEM wheels/tires or something with a little less offset/width work without removing the helpers in the front?
yes stock wheels or even an 8inch wheel or higher offset would allow you to retain the helper and lower it more than 20mm.

Good review. Keep in mind thats why we suggest a 20mm drop and removing the helper spring to lower it more IS what reduces travel.

after this though its regular price so all the lurkers in the Spring will want the intro price......
Neeee-youp !

No not until the spring at the regular price.

Do these come with tophats? Straight old ones out, these ones in?
these do not and you can totally use your stock hats.

I'll admit that I saw the 340lb rate, added that number into the Bilstein/Blacks setup, said "not in my car", and posted.
no worries.

forgive my noobness, but are the single or double height adjustable?
single. Any damper with good internal droop and bump travel wont need double. Most double height adjustable dampers are limited in droop and bump travel. While thats not an issue with race cars its needed for street driven cars.

Thanks for the replies, Myles, but I was hoping to see a range, for example:
0.2 to -1.5 Front
-.1 to -1.3 Rear
I'd like to know the highest and lowest positions.
Thanks.
-5mm to -40mm front
-5mm to -30mm rear

Where I live, the road surface are pretty bad so i probably just lower a tad or even none. However, I miss the driving feeling on coils in my previous ride. So we're set here?
correct. Set.

25mm is fine. Its the 40 that getting close and could hit on bump stops.
Myles
-
So at anything more than 25mm you would be bottoming out on big bumps?
possibility. But using the bump stops isnt the end of the world, just not ideal.

That and one more question:
What is the ride height range F/R for a Legacy...for a Legacy...
And, thanks for the explanation on the twin tube versus monotube.
well there's how much "could" you lower it and then theres how much "should" I lower it.
Could is 40mm, should is 25mm tops.

And, as usual, I find that I've gone off and spoken from my nether regions once again.
Someday I'll learn (not bloody likely).
nahhhh NOT at all. I just wanted to explain it. I'm actually glad you mentioned it because I feel more should know this.

Myles,
It would seem from the photos that you are achieving ride height adjustment through changing the spring pre-load only - is this correct ?
nope....remember there is a helper spring in there and when you adjust it you using THAT 35mm of range WITHOUT effecting preload.
