Good work!
I see that fumoto valve is awfully corroded
-
Good stuff. Are you doing all the work yourself?
-
AVO tmic, anyone got one for sale? will pay up to a brazilian dollar bucks.

I'd drive that..
Off a cliff.

lots of smoke.
Make sure you let the vacuum "sip" the liquid in and not pour it in. It'll stall your engine in a heart beat.

TYPE OF STUTTER/STUMBLE
Steady throttle/Increasing throttle/Both:
Stumple at idle. first start up and after warm up. Intermittent problem.
MODS
Intake: AVO air filter
Exhaust: Borla cat back, PDE catless up pipe. Flow catless shorty down pipe
Fuel: 93 octane
Turbo: VF40
Engine Management: Cobb AP
Tuner and revision of tune(if you don't mind):
TDC protune stage 2 map (old)
Cobb stage 2 OTS map (old)
Infamous stage 2 OTS map (current)
MAINTENANCE
Sensors changed: PCV valve
Plugs changed: Yes.
Coil Packs changed: No
OTHER SYMPTOMS
Check Engine Light: No
Etc:
RESULTS
What has and hasn't worked for you: I had the V.1 AP with TDC protune stage 2 map. It did a lot of stumbling at idle. I've cleaned the MAF sensor and upgraded to V.2 AP stage 2 OTS map and the stumbling went away. I'm not sure if it's a result of a bad tune or dirty MAF sensor, or both.
Revision: 1
Installed Grimmspeed EBCS and Infamous Stage 2 tune. The stumbling at idle in drive mode is still occurring intermittently.
If something worked, how long has it been working for:
Only have less than 1,000 miles since the upgrades. Will revise if conditions change.
Revision: 1
Stumbling came back, now intermittently does it at idle while in drive mode.

Right, I know the packaging doesn't have to be over the top. Just a bit more organized and labeled that's all. And this is coming from someone who works in logistics, so I see packages everyday
Just food for thought.

Received the parts in. Overall the kit looks solid. Now if we can get the hose color to be black instead of silver, that would be great because it'll match the engine bay
And not to nit pick, could you guys package the items in an organized manner? I know the business is still a one man ban, but the packaging can be much improve upon.
I took some pics of the kit. Thanks again.

Anyone ever seen this grill? Do you know what it is/where I can get it?

Thanks! (Sorry if this is a repost. I'm a n00b.)
Anyone know where to get this grille? Their website does not show it anymore and Japanparts.com doesn't have it.

I went to a local Subie guru and had him did a transmission flush with Subaru ATF and BG additives. The fluid were discolored but no too bad looking.
Funny thing is after the flush, the car still drives the same as it did before. Nothing changed at all. I guess that's a good thing?
-
You do require to turn the steering wheel to full lock both directions. All the ones I've done has been successfully clean and no problems at all.
It helps if you have another person turn the steering wheel while the other is working with the bleeder to suck all the fluid out.
It's just another suggestion on doing the service without having to jack up the car and what not.
-
A quicker and most efficient way is to buy a vacuum bleeder and hook it up to a air compressor. Sucks out all the old fluid in seconds. It leaves no mess and easily done in minutes.
-
Thanks for the DIY.
-
What's the consensus on the tranny fluid? Is OEM fluid good enough or is there a god-liked fluid that does wonders for our tranny?

Color code?

Yikes! Sorry to hear about that; I've removed them the last 2 times I've done spark plugs on my 05 2.5T
Yeah. I guess the heat has gotten to the plastic tabs making it very brittle. I barely touch it with my thumb and it fell apart
So from that one mistake, I did the rest of the plugs without taking the connectors off.
got some new stuff for engine R&R
