  1. Yeah, I saw that too and thought the same thing. Ted, you heard from him?
  2. Anyone have Scottys number? I broke my phone and lost it. PM it to me if you have it and I'll call him. Now I'm all worried; that little Buckeye in this big city!
  3. hmmmm.... can we move it up? I have to be at a meeting at 2, so how about noon?
  4. Mmmm.... Fire Bowl.... sure! When?
  5. Man, seemed like an eventful weekend. I wont bore you with my auto-drama, but needless to say I was justifiably absent. Brady, that's insane that your bolt busted like that but I guess it's good to have it out of there. Ted, I am rooting for you. Here's hoping you soon have raving reviews of a vendors exceptional customer service. Lets get that beautiful Leggy of yours up and running!
  6. I think bsdzine is still stock.. I think.
  7. Thanks Han...I just have to pull the rear diff on Saturday, drive it up to Windsor, have the Doc fix her, and then bring her back and reinstall her. Windsor is 1.5 hrs away so it will be an all day ordeal.... I just wish the guy would have done it right the first time! So tomorrow the 4Runner goes up on stands and I'll get her diff ready for the road trip. The CRX is just running hot and not ready for a road trip. I think I may need to do the head gasket..... Always fun, but I'll be happy to help out on Sunday if I can get a ride home from the springs.
  8. So... the $h!t hit the fan a little and I may not be able to come... however I may be able to get a ride down Sun morning, so if Scotty can drive me back up on Sunday night, then I should be able to make it at least on Sunday. It sucks having not one, but 2 P.O.S. cars!
  9. This little FWD CRX handles nearly as well as my fully built LGT (coilovers and F&R sways). Obviously less power and no AWD makes a difference, but this thing weighs less than 2k lbs so the FWD pulls the short footprint around very well. No power steering makes an interesting difference.
  10. Man, I hate clutches. I dont know a lot about it. With enough time and the right replacement parts I'm sure we could get it done. Let me know if you want to tackle it. I bought a nice commuter car '87 CRX Si. Needs a head gasket but it runs great and needs little else! Oh, and it gets 40mpg!! In you face Big Oil!
  11. on that note, can I borrow the Saturn
  12. Art, if your ins company is going to pay to fix it, lets do it ourselves and save some $$. All that is broke we can replace, though you would need to get it painted. Brian, I can help coordinate, but I think that will come easily. And Ted is a little bit of a control freak, so he will still be running around Ted, Sushi & Karaoke?
  13. Man, that's too bad, but turn those lemons into JDM-Lemonade! I hope everyone is ok?!
  14. Ohhh snap, it must have taken you hours to find that pic! Oh, and the wife keeps a pretty tightly packed schedule, so it may be tough fitting you in........ I'll see if she's had any cancellations.
  15. Send me a pic... and maybe I'll pick up your G/F!
  16. It'll take more than an hour to get to DIA at 5pm on a Saturday. Give yourself at least an hour and a half, or fly out of the Springs, and I'll look after your car!
  17. That's what headlights are for!
  18. Yup, no beer in the shop, but substitute that for Gatorade or Vitamin Water and I'd be a happy camper!
  19. Hey Ted, I'd be happy to take you up on lodging, and might even come down Friday night if thats cool so we can get an early start on Saturday. Greta's got other plans that weekend, so it'll just be me.
  20. Deer hunting? Ok! So far I have just taken Miata hunting.
  21. You can count on me both days.
  22. ^^+1,000,000. I know we all have stuff to do, but Ted has given a lot of his time to us so we need to return the favor.
  23. Brian, if all you need is a brake fluid flush, you and I could get together soon at my place and do it.
