Just had the spot of spots just a bit ago at the corner of Garfield and Cypress in Carmichael. While I was stopped at the light a brunette lady in a blue Legacy non-GT sedan gave me the full window-down smile and wave as she passed by. So I'm pretty sure she is someone on this forum, or it might have be Lea, my service rep from Maita Subaru. I was caught off guard, so I didn't get a good look. Anyway....SPOTTED!

 

Talked to Lea at Maita; it was her, FWIW.

Spotted Silver LGT Wagon yesterday around 5:30pm going Westbound Fair Oaks in Carmichael around. I was heading eastbound, and barely noticed ya; so no time to wave.

has anyone seen a white 04-06 imprezza with pink rims?

Nope, but seeing some kid in Folsom in a white 02-03 WRX with purple rims. Purple?!?! why???

What next? Buick Holes on the front fenders, perhaps Corvette brake lights on the rear; maybe a Type-R sticker on the door? It's a Subaru....geez.

I would have gone with DBTuned in Roseville, which would have been much closer to me. But GST had the used DP for sale installed for $300. So, while I was there, why not get an uppipe and a tune ?

Anyone have any idea what the *quietest* catted DP would be? I like how my car sounds now and don't want to go much louder...

 

I have the Cobb catted DP, and I love it. I'm not a fan of loud exhaust either.

A bit late, but I just remembered. Wednesday, I spotted a stock Silver LGT Sedan at the corner of Folsom and Iron Point sometime before noon.. 2 guys were in it. I was with my running buddy staring at you...wondering if you were on the forum .

Yeah- That was a pretty clean wagon... btw I work in Folsom too... Familiar with Folsom Convalescent Hospital?

 

Nope, never up that direction. Sometimes I hit old town for a pint at Samuel Horne's though.

Red LGT wagon on Riley st and Natomas in Folsom around 5pm. White Legacy with HIDs going west on 50 (I was going east) around watt ave exit. Also NPB LGT 2007 going 80 east spotted in Berkeley area with snowboards and skis attached around 215pm. All today.

 

That elusive red wagon in Folsom isn't on the forum. But I work in Folsom, so maybe it will be me someday (my fiance is telling me that I'm being desperate with this message. whatev!)

Not yet.. they just released a new version that lets you do more, but still no direct communication amongst users yet. You can post "chit chats" while driving that others can see and respond to...that's it for now.

I'm installing it now... looks confusing as shit.

 

A couple good demo's on waze.com. Takes a little getting used to. By concept, I expect it to surpass Trapster because it has more features...just has smaller user base right now.

Any of you turd monkeys using Waze (the social GPS app) on your iPhone and other smartphones? I'm "thechadd" on there if you see me driving around Sacramento. It's still a young app still developing social features and whatnot.

It's actually an OBXT, but it's on coilovers to the stock legacy height (because the lgt wagon WAS made with turbo, but didn't have 5MT in '07)

So i had to get the OBXT and undo the stupid suspension lift.

 

I'm positive it was me though, since I work on hanover.

 

Ahh well . I think you need to replace the rear rotors with vented ones, too, right?

Thought it probably was, I know that is your 'hood. I was in the right lane to continue on F.O.B. and saw you in my mirror. You never caught up, so I couldn't give you "the wave". You probably would have wondered why some idiot in an S-10 was waving at you anyway....
