  1. Seen 3 lgts today. Obp spec b in galt around 6 pm. Blue 08 09 legacy with spoiler wat don julio around 7 . My clutch is shot. Bummed out

Go for the Exedy clutch (and flywheel) instead of OEM. You won't regret it!

  2. Ya i heard that. I want to do a few things to mine but i also have a nova thats waiting for the heidts subframe lsx and t-56 to be put in it. Cant make up my mind. I do need a dyno tune tho. Who did yours?

GST down in Hayward did it for me a few years ago. However, I highly recommend FW Motorsports (formerly DBTuned) in Roseville (I didn't know about them at the time). Paul knows his stuff.

  3. Yes that was you. Nice car. Sleeper you say?

Custom dyno map, uppipe, and downpipe, stage 2 clutch and light weight flywheel. I don't want to draw any more attention on the road than I need to ;). I would do more internal (turbo, headers), but then smog inspection just becomes even more of an ordeal.

  4. Spotted that white LGT sedan with the crack in the windshield again [yesterday morning] in Folsom while I was running. The exhaust sounded awesome, and I gave a thumbs up. Oh well. I think this thread should be required for all LGT owners :p
  5. The real problem with it is in a place like this you just look like one more hill billy with a primered car.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It reminds me of when high school kids get their CRX or whatever and think, "yeah! I'm gonna get a fly paint job!" They then strip the paint and primer it themselves, and realize too late how expensive a decent paint job really costs. So they just drive around with a black matte primer looking car indefinitely.

  6. Dirty black would be brown, and would be dirtier in some areas more than others (rear bumper, wheel wells, etc). That looks like the same shade of matte black consistently from the back to mid panels. Even the part that seems brighter above the rear wheel, it doesn't have the glossy effect.

I've been contemplating a wrap for so long, can't decide between white and matte black. I scratched my bumper a couple months ago, and the quotes i've been getting to repaint just the bumper costs more than the cost of materials of a full car wrap.

Hmm...it just doesn't look too appealing. Maybe I'd have to see it "in person" or something.
