hey hipsterdoofus, i like your stock rims in gold... no offence, but i think you posted your pics in the wrong thread since it isnt a 3rd gen
-
damn...guess i would need to order one then.
hey chile, yours is a jdm bumper though which means what i said above does not apply to your situation since your jdm bumper is also narrower than our usdm bumpers.
I am pretty sure there are so many different types of lips are specifically made for your jdm bumper. Isnt it?
-
all i can say is instead of buying the lip online...
go to any local shop in your area, ask for the lip and see if you can test fit before you buy.
as long as you can somewhat bend the lip and put 1 screw on each side of the fender...you should be good to go...
as far as i know, at the back of my lip, i have a sticker that said 98-01 usdm integra type R
-
no need to modify or cut anything...
matty2hotty...are you looking at the lips on ebay?
I notice there is different for the ebay lips...
this is the one I have: http://www.optionjdm.com/option_cart/index.php?target=products&product_id=29808
JDM one is shorter and it isnt wide enough for our leggy bumper...so usdm one is necessary
-
you can get it from ebay if you want but i didnt get mine from ebay.
it is a 98-01 usdm integra type R lip
it fits perfectly...just need few more screws to minimize the gap

hahaha!!! hogzaust off haha

well I dont know about states, but in Canada, it is illegal to have exhaust leak like that.
-
Well then I guess I cant do it on my BE since it is NA?
-
hahah but it is true. Not to mention it is illegal, and what about the backpressure due to the exhaust leak?
-
I still dont think it is a good idea to have an exhaust lead.
This is why I bought 06 wrx axleback with custom pipe on my BE
-
bad news.... went to muffler shop..they wanted $30 from me just for those 2 nuts -.- so forget that n all shops told me just to drill a hole in the muffler >.<
-
I wish I could do mine that easy :S
too bad my nuts are so rusty
-
So does anyone know the exact size of bolts and nuts I need just in case i busted both of them
If my friend doesnt have an impact wrench, I believe I will borrow my neighbour's but I cant do that until next weekend since I hv to bring my car back to university
-
the "free rust" thing was the spray that I bought today........ it didnt look helpful at all...We sprayed that can on those nuts for awhile and then waited for about few mins, but we still couldnt take them out
-
Let say if I can borrow an impact wrench, do those rusty nuts still useable or I need to buy a new pair. If I do need a new pair, do u know the size by any chance?
-
Actually, we tried to tap with a hammar but didnt work at all. I will try to see if anyone has an impact wrench I can borrow, if not I guess I will go to an exhaust shop
-
I finally got a chance to try to do this mod this morning. However, me and my friends tried to take out the nuts but we couldnt :S We jacked up the car and those nuts were really rusty, so we went to canadian tire to get those spray and try to make those nuts loose but it didnt work >.< After an hr, we were all tired and couldnt take out the bolts out at all, so I am wondering can anyone give me tips of what I can do.
-
i just bought a jack from walmart today. It costs me $25 cdn, so not too bad. At least it is cheaper than the ramps. I gonna do this mod in the morning
I hv one little concern, since there will be a gap in between, if I go wash my car, will water actually get in my exhaust?
-
I cant wait until this weekend to try this mod!!!! I will let you guys know the result on the weekend
