  1. Search Universal Racing Honeycomb Hex https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Plastic-Racing-Honeycomb-Spoiler/dp/B01BR0OEOE/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=universal+racing+honeycomb+hex&qid=1607959557&sr=8-1
  2. Me too! Definitely will fill around the fogs. Car is getting painted this week. Had to search high & low since most honeycomb is either the wrong shape, size, too thin or has no texture. Goal is to approximate the spec. b honeycomb grille. Found it on Amazon. I've got a spare sheet I won't be needing.
  3. K2 front clip for facelifted rev D-F: practically unobtainium. Very nice score. Got a sedan or wagon? I got my K2 rev A-C from the same vendor.
  4. JDM Gen. 4 Outback facelift nose cut on eBay, shipping within the U.S. https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-SUBARU-LEGACY-GT-2006-2009-FRONT-NOSE-CUT-HOOD-FENDER-BUMPER-LIGHTS-EJ25/223367332437?hash=item3401bb0255:g:LgEAAOSwa3FcWKBJ:rk:7:pf:0
  5. For you west sacramento wagon folks out there, helluva deal on JDM spec. B nose cut AND mesh grille AND JDM rear bumper AND rear hatch with jdm rear fog light https://www.ebay.com/itm/03-09-JDM-Legacy-BP5-BL5-BPE-BP9-Front-End-Conversion-Bumper-Headlights-Fenders/312295287040?hash=item48b63fe900:g:rbkAAOSwMxJb3gQs:rk:4:pf:0 The only catch? Local pickup only...
  6. There's a couple of JDM spec. B nose cuts on eBay right now. This one is pretty cheap (relatively speaking) and appears scuff / scrape free. https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-2004-2007-Subaru-Legacy-GT-front-end-with-fenders-and-hood/153231107250?hash=item23ad4924b2:g:2FwAAOSwe~Bb0Ks0
  7. Sorry to hear about your hassles. I'm amazed how cheap shipping to us consumers is. Got an engine hoist delivered free to my door via Amazon Prime and the thing has got to weigh 200lbs. On the flip side, returns to sellers appear to be costly. I bought a high-end kitchen sink that arrived with a manufacturing flaw in it. Instead of accepting the return, they said "Keep it." and sent a new one. Okay, back to nose cuts. Why do sellers include the fenders and hood when most of us don't need them? To my thinking, it just adds to their shipping costs.
  8. Yeah, it's his former ride, but not the driver...
  9. Okay, who was dropping the hammer in their BSM LGT wagon with the Blizten bumper tonight? Looking sharp!
  10. Agreed. Buyer beware... Shipping on this entire nose cut JDM sport bumper would probably run up the bill too. http://www.jdmtunersinc.com/jdmSubaruLegacyGTdarkBLUE.html
  11. This looks like a cheap price for a good condition JDM Spec B bumper, complete with the foglights and metal edge braces... https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Subaru-OEM-Legacy-BL-BP-A-C-Spec-B-Front-Bumper-Conversion-Japan-03-07/152930869570?hash=item239b63e142:g:VmkAAOSwl5tam2O4&vxp=mtr
  12. ^ Hmmm... never seen that grille before. Interesting. Presumably OEM upgrade, JDM or EDM?
  13. Oh yeah, I forgot that I had to repin to feed the wires. A hassle for sure...
  14. I bought a set of 08-09 facelifted JDM powerfold mirrors because I liked the newer look. However, I discovered I disliked the turn signal repeaters (smaller with just 2 LEDs) and so swapped the mechanisms to keep my original mirrors.
  15. I’ve swapped the JDM power folding mechanism into USDM non-powerfolding mirrors with no problems. It’s a direct replacement.
  16. Rear wiper stopped working last week. Report submitted!
  17. @ Power6 With firsthand experience, I can confirm the internal mechanics are definitely exchangeable between Rev.A and Rev.D Legacy mirrors, USDM and JDM units. I have never seen the Impreza ones, so cannot comment on those. IIRC, Momswagon removed the mirror glass from the frames b/c he was adding the heated mirror function, but you're correct that otherwise the glass does not need to be dismounted from its frame. Thanks for the tip about the Nissan plugs!
  18. Saw a black 4th gen wagon with dark wheels leaving Boston via the Ted tunnel around 7 tonight. Looking sharp with those Valenti led taillights. Semi-debadged. Turbo?
  19. Amazing job - that looks incredible! Moar pics! So does this end the speculation as to whether the US hood will work with the JDM Rev.D front clip?
  20. Bump for a great price on that switch. I paid almost twice that for mine from Japanparts.
  21. @ Windy Road - you can swap the guts between '05-07 and '08-09 mirrors. Everything matches except the connection for the signal lights (different plugs) which can be easily switched.
  22. If you get a set of JDM folding mirrors with heated lenses, the mirror harness will not fit the US car harness; the JDM plug is wider because it includes 2 added wires for the fold motor. The easiest solution is to carefully cut away one side of the car harness plug with a Dremel tool. The JDM plug will now fit just as the US plug does, and using the pin swap method mentioned above by Blackhole, you must swap the fold motor wires (brown & grey) with the heater wires (black & black). With the fold motor wires on the exposed end of plug, it is a simple matter to tin the ends of the wire leads from the fold switch and plug them into the JDM mirror harness. Secure the wires to the car harness with electrical tape. (photos taken b/f I secured them) I don't like altering the car's harness, but this was so clean & simple. And most importantly, the US plug still works just fine. The guides along the other sides of the plug and the catch all function to keep it together so the removed side is not even missed.
