3/8" washers work. (3/8" diam bolts) i've had stainless on there for about 2 months now and they still look shiny.

nah, i was driving my wife's civic cause we drove down to b'more for the sox series. (35mpg vs 23mpg) we were on our way back (eastbound) through 84 and i saw you in the left lane going westbound. i'm pretty sure it was you. such a nice day out.

cool, i'll keep that in mind. Yeah last year was easier cause it poured. there were no lines at all. if you had the web tix, the trick was to get in the right of the two lines on the left (if that makes sense). Sometimes i feel like (present company excluded of course) that people are so dumb that they will just get behind someone in a line without knowing what they are in line for. one of the 2 web lines had 300 people, and the other had 6. i was in line for no more than 10 mins. glad you had a good time, i plan on being there next year, but we walk there from the north beach camp site.

nice ride, i was gonna walk over and take a look, but i was with a bunch of people and we were headed toward the LOOOONG line to get in. plus they would have though i was a dork for looking at someone else's car in a parking lot. that Lake Placid UBU Ale was best in show i think. The 8% didn't hurt either.

Spent the Weekend in VT for the Brewers Festival. There was a sweet Silver LGT with clear headlights and a FMIC. NY plates. parked in the volunteer lot on saturday. Also on sunday saw a parked (either dark grey or blue) LGT with smoked rear tailights on St. Charles in south burlington. any of those on here?

spotted a grey LGT driving away from Avon, CT last night. had aftermarket rims, no spoiler. heading up the mt.

i guess it could have been RI plates? both are kinda blue and white. unmistakable car though. Whitish (stock maybe?) wheels and slammed.

tonight, around 7-8ish, GRP LGT driving east on the Pike, CT plates, TDC Decals on the fenders, grille, and exhaust. i was honking at you in the white buick. i was taking some family to the airport, and i saw you stopped at the Sturbridge rest stop. i kind of took it easy hoping you'd catch up and i was right. nice ride! i wish i was in my GRP.

kinda late, but friday evening, around 7:15-7:30pm, OPB, tinted LGT going west on the pike between 291 and the Ludlow Exit. i was headed eastbound.

got it. i ended up using a closed end wrench on the bolt head, then jamming the handle of the now useles ratchet in the open end of the wrench as a breaker bar. with some WD-40, got it loose. Actually replaced with some nice 316 SS SHCS, and nuts. Shiny! man, this thing rumbles. i went with 3 flat washers on both (.150" total). My favorite is turning the engine over and letting it idle. i love that.

i have all the stainless parts already, had a few lying around at work, so total cost of this mod, bolts, washers and nuts.... $0. Now, if i can just the bolts off.

ok, this sucks, i was all pumped to do this this afternoon and i CANNOT get those g*damn bolts to budge. i think i ruined my ratchet. it slips in the loosening direction now. any tips on getting these things off?? i don't think a breaker bar will work, cause i basically already broke my ratchet. i tried with an open end wrench, but not enough muscle.
