Interesting... Mine did the same thing.. I complained, and the dealer fixed it about 3k miles ago... It has not returned

Or, if you don't want to cut the wires at all, just swap their positions in the connector

Has anyone actually tapped into this wire yet (the rear dome wire that runs by the front map lights)? I was looking at this last night and I couldn't find those wires. It appears to me that there are a few wires that run over to the vanity mirror lights for the passenger, but none that run back to the dome light.

I found the Diagnostic face plate TSB to be very interesting.... I wonder if a simple face plate replacement would give you MP3 capability???
