  1. ummm, theres lots of white connectors underneath, you sure that was the correct one? i have the 06 and i think it said DRL on the thing you plug into, but i do not know if they have changed it for the 07 model
  2. ah i see, so yours is louder cause you lack cats. im bone stock (cept for silencer delete) so i would be not as loud, good stuff. and theres nothing wrong with just doing one side at a time right? cant wait till it stops raining here in the northeast.
  3. hmmm, maybe its me, but i think thats *abit* too loud? did you space just one side? or both of them? sounds real nice though. so my question is, would spacing just one side and/or using smaller spacers reduce sound intensity? i'm aiming for about halfway between stock and what you have. i'm saying this because i live around lots of old people, LOTS of [conservative] old people and dont want to be too obnoxious on campus either. too many ricers as it is, dont want to be mistaken for one. matt
  4. http://www.bcae1.com/glisoltr.htm most GLIs are 1:1, unless it has a power input, i dont see how it can amplify any signal. it basically converts the signal to a magnetic field, then back to an electric current again through induction to get rid of all the DC noise. kinda like a transformer... minus the transforming.
  5. jazzy, yea i tried burning a silent cd on my laptop's burner, gave the same broken results as the cd you supplied three times. but when i burned the same cd with my tower's burner, it came out fine and continues to work perfectly at 83minutes of wonderful silence. works fine now. 3.5mm GLI: http://www.electricalconnection.com/audio/noise-filters.htm kinda expensive though, more than +$10 compared to crutchfield, but it might be instock alteast.
  6. wow thanks jazzy, got mine yesterday and installed it in about 45 min (why are people taking so long?). pretty good piece of engineering. hardest part was after putting it mostly back together i realized that i forgot to plug the hazards back in x.x works fine though, i have it comming out of the cup holder, put a coupler in too so i can plug stuff into it from the outside. sound quality is great, but.. the cd dosent quite play correctly. the cd futzes around, 'skipping' for 4 or 5 min before it starts playing the silence, untill then, nothing comes out cause the cd player is trying to read the cd and it dosent quite get it... anyone else have this problem? no other cds cause mass confusion in the cd player, just the blank one that was supplied. matt
