i just found this interesting. maybe the rear might work, but the front probably not.

I see. I seen it forsale online for awhile now.tempted to go look. But don't see myself payin 18 for it. Good job getting money on ur trade in tho!
thats not a bad price? i see 2.5i limited's go for that much.

I used my stock tophats. no spec-b tophats are needed for the konis.
good to know. i was hoping you were on specb tophats because i like the way your car sits. with specb tophats, i will sit higher still in the front.

Hi everyone-
I'm going to have to do something about my moaning front wheel bearings. I've got a 2002 Legacy L wagon.
I've worked on my friend's more recent subie which has a replaceable hub unit as described in this thread, but I don't know if my older vehicle can be as easily dealt with.
Does anyone know if I can simply replace the front hub unit on my car as described here, or will I have to use a bearing puller/press to install a new bearing?
I guess another way to put it might be "What is the difference between a front bearing replacement on my friend's newer Subaru and my older '02 model?"
3rd gen legacy, i believe you have to press out the front. the rear is bolt on unit. 3rd gen has front suspension similar to older subies, and rear suspension similar to the 4th gen legacy.

This is happening in my Legacy as well:( Where is the #511 resistor located in the above head console or elsewhere?
its located in the above head console. disassemble your overhead lights and then your airbag indicator.
-
nice house. LOL.
-
^ very nice! suspension specs?
-
ok nevermind i fixed it if anyone cares. i reflowed/resoldered the resistor labeled "511". works like a charm.
-
ok so i took it out, and nothing looks broken or anything?
the specific circuit board for the airbag itself is only 1/2in by 2in with 4 led's on it. looks really simple. can't imagine it costing $100 for it.
there are 7 resistors with numbers on them. i tested them with multimeter and they all check out. none of the circuits/wires are broken either?
now what?

I like the setup but I prefer a curved shield instead of a flat shield. I'm still debating taking them apart tonight and making some custom curved shields for them.
sorry if i missed this somewhere but what are the advantages of a curved shield?

i noticed that when the "airbag" is on in the gauge cluster, the passenger indicator by the lamp, its supposed to say "on" or "off" and it says neither, just "passenger airbag". so i assume my problem is the lamp also. i might just take it out and look for any broken wires.

for your projector retrofit, does that little trim in front of the projector interfere with output at all? do you see it?

what part exactly is the "Lamp AY Map"?

winter wheels.
i like. more shots?
-
if you plan on professionally painting it, yes then black, maybe even the blue. but don't rattle can it. also you need to get closer shots of those headlights .
-
ic. so physically they fit other than the gap with the hood. i don't understand what you mean by "dremel out the lamp socket"?
