  1. Yeah I was thinking of putting some dye because the back is a mess. Yeah I figure a day worth of work and change everything for piece of mind. Car has 150k and the original owner was no longer around for service records so when I bought the car it was like asking questions to the clouds because they would just respond with “not sure or idk anything besides what’s on the car fax maintenance “
  2. Didn’t take any pictures but installed my spec b aluminum front control arms, cusco sway bar, new sway bar links, sway bar bushings, ball joints and Cusco brace. Got an alignment and enjoyed the most comfortable non clunky ride I’ve had in the car since I got it. now I get to have the fun of trying to figure out and solve the oil leaks starting with valve cover gaskets, turbo return hose, pcv and I’ll probably swap all the turbo feed lines out with the iag braided set up and if that doesn’t clean it up probably get a new clutch kit and pull the motor and do the rear main seal
  3. Yeah those are ct plates on it. Originally car was in Washington then made its way to Ct. now who knows where it went
  4. @Kojak @Febreze Mee I was going to take my motor and suspension parts and install it but the kid sold it from under me. So I’m hoping someone’s saving it and not parting it out to double the money
  5. I found this car as a potential parts car I’m thinking of buying being the motors lost compression in cylinder 3. I was wondering if it was previously owned by anyone on here? Jdm front is current other pics previous owner
  6. @Febreze Mee thank you. The clunk was the upper lateral arm bushing had left the building! it was just flopping inside the arm
  7. So the other day in the rain , it felt like the rear of the car was on ice. So I jacked it up and found the upper lateral link was only on because of the bolt. So gave me an excuse to finally install the white line kit and sway bar while I was there. (if anything is in the wrong orientation please let me know being I just went for it ) IMG_4099.MOV IMG_4105.heic
  8. Yeah shoot them an email. They told me they were all in good condition but I didn’t want to deal with the paint headache
  9. http://www.subierecycler.com/ idk what color you need but they have silver, white and gold available for $70 plus shipping. the jdm ones are just outrageously priced, then the ocd kicks in and you end up ordering the matching tail lights !
  10. I couldn’t tell you because mine was already broken but I’m sure I made it worse !
  11. I hear you, mine was already broken and when I took it off to try to make it better I made it worse
  12. Looking for a garnish for my outback. Mines all cracked and drives me crazy.
  13. Did the first step to the paint correction. When I got the car the the original owner either never washed it or used very hard water and never dried it so the water spots and stains on the paint drove me crazy.
  14. I had this happen in a supra I bought. The temps would stay good as long as you drove it local but the moment you got on the highway the temps would creep and then If I pulled over it would drop and be fine for a little bit. Long story short the previous owner put the thermostat in and the “air jiggler” was in the wrong position creating air pockets in the system.
  15. Was bored and the weather was nice so I decided to install my jdm suspension with sti pinks. Hoping in the next week or so to swap all the control arms to the spec b stuff and hotchkis sway bars
