Thought my coil was bad but after further testing I realized I have no voltage going to the plug on the coil. Backtracking I guess, but what do I check now.

How do I check shift lock -
My daughter hit a 8 point buck in her '04 legacy. I believe it has flipped the inertia switch. Having a hard time finding it Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way thank you for letting me join
