I hate driving with my windows down and I don't use drive thru's so that I don't curb a wheel. Power windows don't break on my cars.

I *finally* bit the bullet, and have controls coming. I'll take a multitude of pictures to help out with any nagging questions on a 5AT
That's just what I wanted to hear. I was reviewing this thread just last night. I am still under warranty, so that and effin with the air bag are the two things holding me up. I still have my center stack trim off from the update to the MP3 head unit a few weeks ago, so I am more serious than ever.
Can I access the wiring harness at the back of the radio by removing the console side panel on the driver's side, or is it easier to pull the radio again?
Does anyone know FOR SURE if the air bag system is "dead" by just unhooking the battery or is there a capacitor that has to be drained to keep it from firing?
Thanks.

My "B" trip now shows about 5300 miles and 18.6 MPG average. Plus I just paid $3.319 for premium this AM.

Hey Pillboy, I like your sig line.
Even though AWD can't quite alter the laws of physics, it comes really close...
Smart enough to read...smart enough you won't become a crash thread.
Post up guys...the "Head On" thread is quickly catching this one for number of posts.

They are just trying to prevent brain damage. Too late for most people...I think they pipe the exhaust right into the passenger compartment.

Just got done installing my Toshiba 9011 HIRs. Did the 65 watt H7 Osrams a few days ago (both products from ebay vendors...just over $100 total). Just waiting for it to get dark.

If we get two feet of snow we will need your plow truck. Maybe we should meet in NY state for a little lake effect snow if you want extremes.

69 is too hot.
When you're in this "mode" make sure the A/C is on maximum...and you're in "Park".

Is there any way to synchronize to driver and passanger temps so that only only have to adjust one to change both?
Loop a large rubber band (rubber binder to some of you) around both temp rings so it looks like a tank tread.

So back on topic, those wheels look GOOOD
What is the title of this thread???

The Peak Global I found (in Menards...home improvement store) was pre-mixed. So...if I flush the system after draining the old coolant, I am left with some water in the system as I cannot get it all out...I am not about to pull the block drain(s). So tell me, just how do I get to a 50/50 final mix, starting with some 100% water in the system and adding a 50/50 mix to the cooling system? Not possible. Also, where do I get large amounts of distilled water to run through my garden hose for the flushing process so that when I am done, the water remaining in the system is distilled water? I have always used tap water for this process and have never had an issue. Subaru is just jerking your chain.

Get extra washers cause you will drop at least one down in the pipe or can.

I recently had my oil changed at the dealer along with some warranty stuff. I noticed on their invoice that they 'inspected' the exhaust system, but did not change anything nor did they say anything to me.
(I have the $0.58 8 guage wire mod)
Apparently they didn't find any exhaust leaks. Incompetent.

So, I took my car to the dealer yesterday for a 3,000 mile oil change and tune up. I had the hogzawst stage II installed. When I went to go pick it up, the service manager came over to me and told me that "the exhaust modification I did was illegal and dangerous because it allows toxic fumes to enter under the back seats and trunk." He also said, "if they didn't remove it that it would void my warranty." So they took the liberty to remove it and charge me 20 some bucks for labor and 2 gaskets without even asking me first.
So now my LGT is all quiet and I can't hear her sweet purr anymore...
I guess I'll have to go spend another dollar on washers, but what the service manager told me still has me thinking. Can exhaust vapors actually enter the car with this mod? Hmm...
I'd rip 'em a new one for not returning my washers.

So was it just the four of you? No Brady...no Kimmi? At least I had an excuse...visited mommy. And picked up some paint scuffs from road debris to go with my stone chips on the windshield from the last time I went down. Grrrrrrrrrr.
Yamie...do you have current pics on the RBP thread?
Rich...I want a ride too.
T...how did the autoX go on Saturday?
Twisted...not banned yet, huh?
As far as Red Wing goes, I kinda like MN 60 from Wabasha to Zumbrota...lotsa curves.
I WILL be there next time.

anyone know a good place where i can get a nice pastrami sam-bish....u know NY style...
Twisted...never been here, but I have read a couple-three reviews of this place and they all said the food was great. One said the service left a little something to be desired.

I'm game for a drive too. We need to do that a couple times this fall. Once north of the Cities and another a couple weeks later south along the Mississippi during the color change.
I'm not sure I am making it this weekend. With the weather the way it is going to be, I wouldn't stand around on hot tar looking at Jedi's avatars much less Subaru Legacy's (no one take offence). I should also drive down and check on my mother (it's not too often the temperature exceeds her age) and fill her pill boxes for another month.
T, good luck on Saturday and take some Gatorade along.
Brady, if you go on a date, good luck and take some Gatorade along.
