I'm usually visiting while on my Mac. No issues.

Imagine my surprise seeing your thread title today. I bought an AWD Q50 Red Sport back in April. I had sold my LGT back in October of 2016 and had been driving my wife's Escape since then as we found ourselves with an extra car.
Are you on infinifiq50.org?
-
I just might have to skip having this done based on what others have posted, and just use the car for when I go somewhere by myself. Sucks to be so anal retentive regarding an eleven year old car, but it has only 70k miles.
-
How dare you spend time with the family.
-
Plus you always have me, who has had one for about 2 years now and it is still in my desk drawer uninstalled. And could most likely be persuaded to sell it since I am obviously never going to get around to doing it.

Even NASCAR isn't this stupid.
Nicest thing you have ever said about NASCAR.

I am going to be purchasing an '06 LGT from a guy who really doesn't want the car. He stated that he changed the oil recently, but not knowing the LGTs, I don't think he put in the right oil. Now, the drive back to my house is about an hour, and I'll drive the car rather gingerly there. But I wanna to change the oil as soon as I can. Reading through this forum, I know there are varying opinions, but how should I go about to clean out the oil that was put into the engine?
Hot water and Dawn.

Samaritan Tire in minnetonka is a lowered/modded friendly shop.
I think they are also in the process of working a discount out for mnsubaru.
I have used Samaritan for three sets of tires and a couple flat repairs. Good shop and I highly recommend them.

Nice write-up and not sure how I missed this until now.
My ass has never been so cold that I would attempt this on my own (and I live in Minnesota)...but I have cloth and that does not get anywhere as cold as leather.
Good job!

Might depend on where azncookie is...2005 was the first year for that generation in the US (and probably Canada), but I believe that gen was 2004 in other parts of the world.

I still haven't installed mine. I am the expert in procrastination.
-
I can't possible see how adding a simple extension cable could make any difference in how it is supposed to work. But what do I know, I STILL haven't installed mine more than a year after receiving it.

Still haven't installed mine. Soon I will be complaining about it being too cold to do so. I suck at motivation.
-
Apparently Subaru is pretty proud of that part.
-
Nine months after receiving it and I am embarrassed to say I still have not installed it.

There are thousands of them
My posts are all serious and all helpful.
The real old Jedimaster and godwhomismike are pretty hilarious too. They were sooooo serious and polite at first.

Wow...real, live serious posts from the distant past of rao.

I completed mine today with a alternate switch location.
Oh, and be sure that the flat cable doesn't pop out of the radio board connector when you put the CD changer back in or all you'll get on the display is a couple of words in the climate control screen but no functional front panel.
Excellent sound, thanks for making this aux-in board!
That switch location makes the most sense.

I ordered a pair of spare Toshiba 9011 HIR1 bulbs, as the manufacturer has discontinued them.
I took you at your word and did the same.

I think mom needs to stop launching it at stoplights.

1/6"...wtf kind of a rule do you use?

So hogger...is there a thread like this on one of the F150 forums?

Mine came in the mail today. Really nice looking work on the circuit board Sebastien. I know I am not going to to this until spring as I just don't have the time right now. Also I am not sure if I want to put it in my original head unit or the MP3 unit now in the car. Combining it with the MP3 player might be a little overkill for flexibility and if I put it in the original HU, that would make both HUs desirable.
Thanks again and wish me luck that this works when I install it as my warranty on it will be up by then.

Hope there is still one left as I just placed an order. Since it is getting colder in Minnesota and less desirable to spend a lot of time in the garage, this probably won't go in until spring. I don't want to wait until then and find out you have quit making these (due to tapering off of interest). Based on the reviews, it appears you have hit a home run, Sebastien. I have been on the fence about this for months, but have decided that I can always sell it if something happens over the winter (car gets totaled). Good job!
