got it to take the bolt. will the koni insert bottom out on the bottom of the strut or will there be a little space left inside the strut housing at the bottom?

I know i cut this right, but i can not get the bolt to thred into the insert. Do i have to get a longer bolt to get the insert to get closer to the whole i driled and then use the bolt that came with the kit.

what are the metal silver rings that came in a small bag with the 2 white flat spacers, 2 nuts and 2 washers?

Well i took everything apart and then hooked the power up to see what went wrong. It turned out the male to male adapter wire i used was bad. I put a better one in and now everything works great.

gutted mine yesterday and now getting them powder coated cusco blue. 2 week waiting time. cant wait to get them back to get everything in.

i think the soldering was good. i did not conect the two silver spots together. wire to that spot all together. i used a male input with and aux input plug in on the other end. Then used a male to male conector from that to the ipod. to recharge i used a cig lighter adapter with a usb port. i used my iphone also into it and get the samething. I know i put it in right. Post # 564 is what mine looks like.

Once i pluged the charger into the ipod and into the cig lighter i got the bass back and the voices, but slight echo still. Sounds clear, but on some songs the music is too much over the words. Has anyone had this happen to them?

No i get both side speakers coming on. The plug is all the way in both sides. and when i say no bass there is none. Sometimes you can only hear the trible only over the words.

i got it in and it sounds okay, but the voices are weak and echo and there is no bass, What could i have done wrong?

i dont need someone to intall it, it is easy to install it. I will get one that has a male plug and a pin conector to the ipod.

I guess i will have to figure it out, that will not hook the ipod up to the new electronic you made. Why did this not come with the kit then if it was well explained? Sorry, i dont mean to be a pita.

Okay i got mine, but how do i hook the apple i pod up to it?

I did mine but the gasket kept getting pulled out due to a bolt on the camshaft area. had subaru put it back in and it took the mech 3 times to get it right.

If i buy this do i need anything else to get to fit this in my 05 gt.

On the rear do you have to take apart the emergency break to put the whole hub on? my book says torque spec is 140 ft-lbs is that right for a o5 gt on the axel nut?

This will fit in a 05 legacy gt? People that have it do you like it and does it sound good?

Valvolin 5W30 synthetic is what i use and we also get very cold here in the winter. this am it was -20 deg. I have always used Valvoin and loved there oil. I have 80K on the car at stage 2 and don't burn oil. Get a Block Heater for winter time and everything stays warm and your car will start right up in the winters.

There is really no comparison. The r rev grill is so much better than the avo grill. I have the r rev grill and love it.

I probable would do the Roll-center and Bump-Steer kit in due to the ball joint very hard to get off. I have herd that once you replace it it is very easy to get off.

should i get some spec b top hats for this also? do you need spacers for the saggy butt?

If subaru went bigger for a reason, then why didn't the GT get them if the car weighs more that a STI and is close in hp #'s. I still don't get all the work and $ to do this. I keep hearing about bad wheel bearings. I have almost 85k on the car and track it and no bad wheel bearings yet. Maybe putting all this camber and toe in/out is causing your bearings to wear out much faster.

I really don't know why you would want this conversion? Are you doing this to have Bling rims on or are you going to rally your car? To me it seems wird to do this.
