Tazdingo

I bought the shortblock from someone on the 5miles app a couple years back and have had it in storage since. It's supposed to be new. I recently took it out to start piecing together the engine and just noticed the nick it had at the border of the cylinder wall.

Are the dark markings on the piston wall and small chip something to be concerned about? I couldn't figure out how to post the pictures so I pasted a link. https://imgur.com/a/pX2ZSf1
