WORK XT-7 18x8.5 +46mm MGS w/ Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 245/45-18 on an '05 OBXT lowered 1.5" on Megan Racing Outback Specific Coilovers. No rolling required. Probably won't fit stock setup due to larger front suspension diameter. My vBGarage.

I've actually run into a similar kind of thing. Whenever I put the VIN# for my '05 Outback XT Ltd. into any of the sites that reference VIN# (i.e. insurance and such) the car always comes up as just a regular '05 Outback. Heck if I know what the reason is though. Maybe Subaru just screwed up the registration. There's no confusion about the vehicle, it's an 07 Outback Ltd. I just don't understand why the inconsistencies in registration since everything the same (dealer, model, salesman). I have enjoyed this car so much I replaced our second car with an 08 Legacy SE sedan (you can still get the wagon up here). -
Speaking of reviews and ratings I don't know if you have seen it yet but Consumer Reports just did a review of H and V rated all-season tires as well as "performance" winter tires. They tested them for 16,000 miles each and did what seems to me to be one heck of a job. It is in the most recent issue, November 2006. You may or may not agree with their ratings but it's a good read with a fair amount of information and some food for thought. Can't say they've ever really steered me wrong when it's come to buying stuff they've tested.

It's up to you if you'd like to add this link to the front of your thread or not but below is a link to a thread I helped make with a few others on the board about one solution to the BIU problem that is sometimes seen after wiring in the map lights. Do with it as you see fit.
