  1. I use and have been using archoil fuel and oil additives and have had nothing but STELLAR results. Injectors are quieter and gas mpg is up about 2-2.5mpg Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  2. Not sure of the warranty. Purchased the vehicle in California who had it put in by thier local mechanic. I guess my thought process is , my ultimate goal for the vehicle is 500hp,so I think I'll just drive it until if/when it decides to let go. Then I can half justify a new built motor to my wife. What types of things should I be on the lookout for that would relate to the pulleys/belt giving out? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  3. Lol thanks for the paranoia now. Is this something you would replace with OEM as soon as you could? The kit was put in by the dealer I purchased the vehicle from. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  4. First off, 303k miles.... Lots of respect. That tempature reading looks very familiar, so I feel more at ease. Coming from a 7.3 Diesel, I've always been over concerned with operating temperature so I may have put too much thought into it. Thanks for taking the time to take pictures. 5. God I wish I could keep mine looking like that. Living on a dirt road on top of a Colorado mountain makes that impossible. Have you tried any ceramic coatings? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  6. Yea, I'm not sure how well it was burped. It seems to be stable now after some "spirited driving". Temperature seems to have stabilized as well. I'll definitely do the procedure you recommended to make sure it is done correctly. Thanks for the help! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  7. Those are things I will have checked out at the shop. It recently had the timing/water pump done. I'm still trying to get it fully burped, but the coolant looks clean. I've had to refill the overflow tank a couple of times but I'm assuming that's air leaving the system. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  8. I think the only thing that is unexplained is the low temp in the desert. The picture above with the lowest temp is the one taken at that time. Flat road 5th gear 70mph. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  9. Oem thermostat. Coolant in great condition. I live in the mountains so I see drastic temp changes. I did notice it running very cool through the nevada desert when it was about 70°. I doest seem to struggle to get to temp. I imagine the constant up and downhill would cause the variation. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  10. Hey all, I have an 06 spec b and it seems to be running cool, but will go back up intermittently. The thermostat has been replace twice, so I'm kind of stumped. Any thoughts? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  11. Sure did. Pulleys , gates belt and water pump. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  12. Anyone use oil additives? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  13. Just did a full detail after terrible weather.Tomorrow she's getting a new clutch w/ the pdm snout sleeve, new brembo rotors and pads all the way around and a new thermostat. Just put a new timing belt on as well, it still had the factory belt with 140k miles on it. Still looked great. (Pictured below) Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  14. That sounds like a great idea. Coming from a diesel in the mountains, my eyes were GLUED to EGT temps. I plan on going Cobb stage 1 and borla exhaust, and call it done. I would hate to bastardize such an uncommon car. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  15. Hey all, looking to pick up a an access port for my 06 spec B. I will run the 6 gauge format , but I was wondering two things: 1) What gauges should I run? 2) What are the correct readings for said gauges? Coming from a 7.3 Excursion I'm only used to Boost, EGT and trans temp. I'll be running the stage 1 tune with the Cobb intake as well, if that's important information at all. 16. Bought it. It was #492. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
