  1. Would that be what could cause the issue if the car was running before the issue came about? I did see one strap that was cut, but the car was running and working? I would have assumed that wouldn’t have been the issue if the car would have ran prior???
  2. I just took it to AutoZone and it has a good battery
  3. Yes it is a 5eat. I just took it apart again to make sore I did plug everything in and I did. I also did check the fuses for the started. I checked it for codes but the scanner wouldn’t come on and work. I threw it in my other Subaru and it did work. Are you able to point me in the right direction as to where to look for the proper ground. As stated above I’m new to this. I appreciate the help
  4. So to start everything off here is how all this played out. I needed to replace my anti knock sensor in my 05 legacy Xt. Got everything out and got the new pet back in and everything buttoned up. Went to start the car and it won’t turn over at all. Temp gauge is maxed out (car hasn’t been drove today) and above the odometer it is showing the er hc. Not too sure how to fix the issue as I’ve read that it goes away on its own once the car is started a few times. I tried to jump it and that didn’t help, I checked the posts on the battery and everything there seemed to be good. Next to ripping out the inner cooler and seeing if something came unplugged I’m out of ideas. Go easy on me. I’m new to all this
  5. Thanks for the help man. Did you have to find someone to make you a special harness to hook it up, I could be wrong but from other threads I’ve read that is needed, unless it was just for a jdm.
  6. Hello all. I’m in need of help finding an aftermarket stereo for my 2005 legacy outback Xt. I have the dash kit that I need for the dual climate controls. Searching critchfield and some of the other pages I’m not seeing anything for the Xt, only the gt, gt limited and the I. Looking for something that has Bluetooth and something perceptibly apple. Thanks for the help.
  7. Ok. Here is the back story. I had 3 broken wires in the boot. One was reverse. So I fixed the 3 wires and that made the reverse work. However when I did that the back door hatch light stayed on. So I undid the wiring and then the cars locks wouldn’t work inside the car or with the factory remote. Checked the fuse and it was bad. Replaced it and the locks inside would work. Once that was all fixed, now the radio won’t come on at all and I can’t turn on the heat or ac. It’s like there is no power. I have no idea what to do. This is so frustrating.
  8. After looking a little harder because of better weather, I was able to find 3 broken wires in the boot. I spliced all those back together And now the light indicating that the rear hatch is open stays on. I checked all the wires 3 times And can’t seem to find a broken one. Any ideas of what wire I should be looking for?
  9. So I lost my reverse lights on the outback. Located 3 broken wires and spliced them back together. Now that the reverse lights are working I thought all it well. Until I noticed that the dash light is showing that the hatch door is open when it’s not. Hoping that someone knows what colored wire I should be looking for. Thanks for the help.
  10. That’s what I’m doing tomorrow. I found a shop that specializes in Subarus
  11. Yep, I swapped out the b356 and that didn’t solve the problem sadly. I appreciate the help as well as the diagram.
  12. Yes. For the manual is is about $30. I have the automatic, according to multiple dealerships the one for the auto is about $380.
  13. I tried to swap out that relay and they didn’t help sadly. And the piece on the trans is $380 so I was just trying to narrow everything out before I dropped that kind of money to have reverse lights. Thanks for the hwlp
