  1. I bought it pre-owned with 88,000 miles. Looks like previous owner was doing 7k oil change intervals.
  2. That's interesting! I was having coolant loss so I took it for a diagnostic appointment. Turns out headgaskets are seaping
  3. Anyone else having head gasket issues on their 6th gen legacy? I took mine in for a diagnostic inspection and it turns out one of the headgaskets is leaking coolant and oil. The car is currently at 96,000 miles and it surprises me Subaru is still having these same issues as their EJ motors. None the less Im lucky I bought the extended warranty because now the warranty company has to pay for a 13.5 hour job. And yes the job was approved. Now let's see how long they'll take.
  4. Is there any risks in cleaning an "electronic" throttle body?
  5. Thanks for replying! Thats a great idea! Im on hold at the moment with Subaru customer service.... Lets see what they say. I have a feeling it may be fuel pump related. From the research Ive done so far. I'm reading the 2015 Legacy's have the Denso low pressure fuel pump that was recalled in newer models. I will definitely keep everyone updated.
  6. I tried searching here and online but can't find anything specifically related to my issue. I recently bought a 2015 Legacy 2.5 Limited from a Subaru dealer. The current mileage is 89,101 miles. Today was the second time the Legacy would start-up but immediately die(turn-off) I got it to stay on by revving the engine on start-up. No CEL as of now but tomorrow I will connect my obdII scanner to check for pending codes. Anybody have a clue as to what may be causing this issue? It has happened only at night time when the outside temperature is colder. I work for a mobile dispensary so I do a lot of short distance driving. I noticed it (the issue) has happened after the vehicle is at normal operating temperature and after a short distance drive. Any input or knowledge of this issue would be greatly appreciated. I have warranty on the vehicle but replicating the problem at the dealer is highly unlikely. There is no record of spark plugs being replaced so I may change them. (Yes, I'm going to order oem spark plugs haha) Thanks in advance to anybody willing to give me some Insight
