  1. Hey folks. in the final planning stages of my stereo install. have everything ready for install besides a rear speaker mount solution. Crutchfield seems to only list the front... are they the same for the back? it doesn't specify. I'm using custom mounts i had made up for my previous vehicle to adapt a 5.25 driver to a 6.5" opening. I haven't pulled the panel yet, is the mounting spot flat? I suppose it could be possible to just mount my size adapter right to the door panel.
  2. So I have a 12 2.5i. I have a stereo pulled from my old car that I'm in the final planning stages of installing into the legacy. My last car was an 08 Malibu, and the rear seats had hard plastic backings that I was able to easily mount the amps to, but this guy doesnt. Just looking for some pointers on the best way to go about this? I'd rather not have them mounted to the sub box if at all possible. The amps are a jl 300/4 which have the wiring at the bottom, and a memphis 1k watt sub amp that has the wiring coming out of both ends, just to make it more convienant. Any ideas/pictures of your setups would be appreciated! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. That's good to know. I'm in New Hampshire so cold weather performance is a must, as it's cold for just ever lol. I poked around some of the old threads, and it looks like some folks had good luck in the winter with redline lightweight shockproof. May try some of that.
  4. So this is a new to me vehicle , purchased in october. It has 137k. Things have been fine, until now when its very cold.. first gear is incredibly hard to engage until everything warms up. Once its warm, drives normally. is this common or did i discover why it was traded out of in the first place lol. Also, since im here, i dont know when the fluid was changed last so i plan on doing that anyway. ive seen something about the extraMT fluid but it seems that stuff only comes in incredibly expenisve 5 gallon buckets. Any better options out there? Thanks.
  5. Just curious about my shift linkage. There seems to be some slop in the gear selector. Is this normal for these cars or are there bushings within the linkage that need to be changed. Thanks for any tips.
