Trying to fix intermittent AC on a 2007 legacy. The air gap between the magnet and the plate is more than the 0.45 mm spec'ed. So, I removed the plate and there was only one shim/spacer in there. I took it out, replaced the plate and there is no air gap at all. I’ve been trying to find shims/spaces that will fit but can’t find any – I am either going to buy a new assembly just for the shims and maybe the front plate – or is there anywhere I can find just the shims /spacers? Tried auto body shops – NAPA, O’relily etc. but no luck.
Any suggestions welcome.
