  1. I'm going back to the dealer Wednesday. They have had the car 5 times for probably about 3 weeks. They keep saying say the shake is gone but are only driving it about 5 minutes. It's completely random. Sometimes it takes driving for awhile to get it to do it and sometimes it does it right away. They say there are no codes and that everything is in range while it's hooked up to the computer.
  2. Checked the voltages this morning. Before starting 12.45 On with no load 14.3 With ac/radio/lights on 14.28 There is a distinctive change in engine sound when turning the lights on and off. No shakes this morning but it does do it completely random. I'll clean the maf sensor once the wife gets back.
  3. The voltage drop and shake go together. When there is no shake the voltage sticks between 14.23-14.25. When there is a shake the voltage will vary between 14.1-14.27 Even with no load the voltage reads between 14.23-14.25. I'll check again tomorrow to get more readings.
  4. I have a shaking issue while at a stop in reverse and drive. The shake is completely random. Sometimes it shakes consistently and sometimes no shake at all. I tested my voltage while in gear and load and got different readings. No shaking in drive/reverse 14.23 to 14.25 While there is a shake in drive/reverse It would start around 14.23 and drop to 14.10 at the lowest but is fluctuating between 14.10 to 14.25. I would have to check more to see if it drops lower but it's crazy hot outside. I'm wondering if a new alternator would be a fix for me. The dealer already replaced the tensioner, torque converter and updated the transmission software. The last time it was there for a week and they said the tranny fluid was low and that was causing the shake.
  5. Forgot to mention that the issue progressively get worse the more you drive. Not sure where to go from here. The service manager wants another ride along. I tried to mention the ac issue but he blew me off.
  6. I have a 2016 2.5 Legacy with 38k miles. The battery was replaced in April before we purchased the car. After purchasing we noticed a vibration/ shudder when stopping and the rpms would dip. Took it in and they replaced the tensioner and seemed to work. A couple days later the vibration started again. We took it back and they addressed an issue with the differential and did a update for the transmission. Seemed to work but after about 30 minutes we could feel the vibration again. Took it back again and the master tech said it was the torque converter. They replaced it and within 30 minutes of driving the vibration is still there. A tech drove with is this last time and he felt the vibration. It stayed for a week and they came back with "transmission fluid level was low". They topped it off and said it was fixed. So now it still has the vibration in drive/reverse and is most noticeable with the ac on. The service manager basically said they don't want to deal with it anymore. Any help is appreciated. Summary Been in shop 5 times for vibration while in gear. Replaced torque converter Transmission computer update and differential service Replaced tensioner Topped off transmission fluid Issue is still there and not getting fixed. Service manager is a douche who is arrogant and doesn't want to hear your opinion of what the issue could be.
